9 RepliesSo it's a problem because now you are actually gonna have to manage recoil just like every other fps out there I dont see the problem
-
5 RepliesYou can completely ignore the stability stat on PC. Whether a gun has 0 or 100 stability doesn't matter. They want that stat to matter not for it to matter less on console. Good change by them.
-
1 ReplyGee it's almost like the stability stat will actually matter now.
-
21 RepliesThat's been my issue with shooters on pc, it's too easy to be accurate. I'm glad they're adding recoil
-
3 RepliesYeah no. Stop this horrid argument. Weapons are really easy to control on console, and we have already had a number of buffs in past seasons that have made recoil direction better. There were only outliers like SMG's, and they are fixing that. Vouching for a recoil buff on console is blatantly misguided, since you are basically asking for laser beam weapons on top of heavy aim assist, which would lower the skill gap even more than it already is. Meanwhile, PC players are playing an entirely different sandbox where weapons are easier to control and use, which is why the stability stat is mostly disregarded. Now you have to care about the stability stat like console players and I bet that leaves you scared.
-
8 RepliesNope. Sorry, weapons should have recoil.
-
1 ReplyWhat Bungie says they are going to do and what they actually do is almost always different.
-
1 ReplyI made a video on it tbh Bungie is just wasting developer time with the changes won't be that significant. Only thing I can see is pulses will be useless. Maybe did it to make console kids happier? https://youtu.be/DtRsH4-xT2g

8 RepliesI always hate to watch videos from streamers who are using smgs like scout rifles. No recoil, no bloom, no skill in terms of weapon handling needed. Or how they use HCs like its nothing. Just point at someone, push a button 3 times, win. It was about time.
-
27 RepliesNow the stability stat will matter for M&K
-
0 times 20 is still 0.
-
1 ReplyEdited by Jonah-ralKenobi: 1/29/2021 2:40:34 PMNope. I disagree because then all players can ignore stability. Plus, if controller players had insane stability AND insane AA, controller would be way too good. Either MnK players relearn muscle memory (and they still get an extra 20% less recoil) or they get demolished by controller players.
-
1 ReplyI started playing on PC using mouse and keyboard with Beyond Light. I thought it was a bit weird that the stability stat seems mostly negligible. We'll just have to see what it does and how Bungie handles it. The worst that could happen is Bungie decides they need to constantly adjust recoil for mouse and keyboard.
-
1 ReplyWhy not just take away recoil or console lol
-
1 ReplyI’m reserving my overall opinion on this until the change has been implemented. That being said. My only concern is if the 20% increase to recoil is enough to break the overall feel of the gunplay that I’ve gotten used to over time. It’s certainly going to be different, that’s for sure.
-
7 RepliesI mean console kids are gonna learn how broken shotguns are I guess. Also about the quickdraw glitch with a Bow and Handcannon.
-
5 RepliesOnly thing this change would do is make Players use more Shotguns in Crucible. Only that until Bungie realized the consequence.
-
3 Repliesnow pc gun reviews will have more accurate reviews relevant to all platforms, instead of just pc play. i may start watching those reviews. in the past my response was always "not the same on console".
-
6 RepliesThe guns I’ve collected were based on how they feel on m and k now they will be potentially far worse Muscle memory built up over the years will probably have to be reprogrammed Just not worth the effort..
-
4 RepliesFunny all the controller users are rejoicing mnk is gonna get nerfed. But couldn't use mnk with the minimal recoil now or with the 20% nerf. But every mnk users can easily use a controller...
-
4 Repliespc players spent years learning muscle memory in this game which is very dependant on feel rather than actual mechanical skill just for the feel of it to be changed in one update. really dont know the thought process here, should have decreased recoil on controller instead then everyone is happy rather than leaving one party indifferent while harming the other
-
4 RepliesI'm actually glad this is changing, so many guns that aren't even good on stability feel jarring because.i expect something to be there, but nothing is. Only thing now is to normalize recoil across input devices, maybe needing to reduce controller stickiness a smidge while doing so.
-
3 RepliesAnother option would be to give mouse support to console players especially next gen . And an opt in/ out option as cheaters are the real issue not recoil changes .
