Hey Bungie I made a simple concept of a game mode I think would be awesome and would support the MMO side of the game. I understand this is a lot and I am a random forum user but still, I think a lot of people would enjoy this.
Forum dwellers feel free to criticize and share your opinions.
TL:DR Imagine going to First Light with around 11 other guardians and absolutely shredding through legions of Hive and Fallen.

an couple of ideas that could makes this more interesting is in very rare ( exotics in the wild rare ) circumstances one faction and the guardians can team up against a common foe ( an example being helping the fallen against the hive on the moon ) and for there to be tank and air support or equivalent ( ogres are the hives tanks ) for all factions ( guardians are only allowed to have two of each for all twelve to share, and has a time limit )

This. This actually pretty cool. (However, it’s would be fun and this is Destiny, so...... yeah. lol) don’t get me wrong, I enjoy the game, but the fun factor can be, let’s just say “veritable.” oh, also Luke Smith vision is a thing so there’s that.

Sounds interesting. 👍 My only real negative would be a possible tendency for people to only bother joining when the arrival of the Conqueror was imminent.

2 RepliesThere is only one time If I remember correctly that Cozmo was actually asking for suggestions, etc... for the game. IMO this needs to be more of a thing with this compnay because it seems they have literally run out of ideas for the game given the recent activities they added with BL. Bungie needs help and your idea is a good thing as many others have come up with some good ideas for the game. It's just a shame this post is as far as this will ever go.

1 ReplyI like this idea a lot. Perhaps the cadmus brig could have Insurrection Prime mechanics, with the weak point in the centre of its stomach. Another idea that occured to me is that perhaps the conquerors could employ champion mechanics in their final 6th of health as a final stand mechanic. The cabal colossus turned gladiator could be unstoppable for instance, or the brig could have a barrier mechanic during final stand. Maybe we could have seasonal mods for anti-champion power weapon mods to help with this.

2 RepliesGreat idea, I especially like an evolving battlefield with bosses and enemies reclaiming points. For the sake of armchair devving and fleshing this out a bit, how do you like the sound of these ideas?: - Instead of a 30 minute timer to reset enemy control points, Enemy forces spawning near/attacking a player controlled point become more and more powerful/large, eventually overwhelming the players there, and then retaking the point. The longer the players hold the point, the more loot per minute they would get from holding the point. This would reward players for coming in with their strongest endurance builds. - What kind of uniqueness would the weapons/armor drops from bosses have? Unique perks, mod slots? Maybe just very unique stats? Would there be any reward structure around these bosses (I.E: Player agency over loot, such as influencing perks or the weapon type that drops)? And why should the bosses have no mechanics? Certainly they could have at least heroic event level mechanics, just to spice things up a bit when fighting them? - Why only weekdays for conquerors? Why not have conquerors on weekends? - How else would players be able to influence the battlefield? Perhaps certain bosses are more likely to be deployed once players complete X objective, such as holding a specific control point for 10 minutes, or defeating hidden enemies that have snuck away in caves/ruins of buildings? Would enemy forces fight against each other meaningfully, such as Fallen and Hive contesting control over a point with eachother?
