No One Cares That You’re Leaving
To the people who write small novels about why they’re leaving and how much the game sucks, no one cares. I’m not a Bungie defender, and admit they screw up quite a few things, but if you’re gonna leave, quit the woe-is-me theatrical act, uninstall the game and scram.
EDIT: I wrote this when I was in a fairly foul mood, and I apologize for coming across fairly aggressively. I recognize that feedback is good for the game, and people citing the reasons for why they aren’t satisfied with the game is nothing but beneficial. So yeah sorry for seeming like a pretentious jerk :/

I feel you guardian. I've never read a good "quitting destiny post." I've never found one that articulates realistic complaints, or complaints that aren't hyper-personal. For the most part in these forums the quitting posts almost always sound like, "The game wasn't created specifically around me and my time, and my life, and my preferences, so its garbage and not worth playing". Oh and oh course the obligatory, "D1 Day 1 alpha player here" like your opinion is more valid than anyone else's. The game doesnt even have the same lead staff as D1 so I tend not to compare them too aggressively if I can help it. I'm sure you'll get the same garbage responses everyone does when they make a "please stop posting your nonsensical quitting posts." Things like, "Derrr their opinions matter because bungie needs to know why they're losing major player bases and funding." Which is just such a silly thing to say to me. It's like the customer at a restaurant threatening to never come back. The entire staff there hopes its true hahahaha. But before I get blasted with comments like, "This noob blah, only so many hours played blah, your writing too so clearly you care blah, I just thought you should know, you're not alone in wishing these forums were a better place to have actual conversations rather than the cesspool of toxicity that these forums constantly refer to themselves as. In any case, I hope your enjoying Beyond Light and that these forums don't ruin any fun or hype you had about this game and franchise before posting.

Bungie wants players to tell them what they think of the game including if they are quitting: why. They ask players for that feedback. They ask players to give them that feedback on the official feedback forum. This is the official feedback forum. That is what it’s here for. It’s okay for other people to give different feedback that you do or would. That’s good for the game. Stop trying to control what other people do, you will be a lot happier.

Hmmmm, most of the people who wrote those novels been playing since day one. So yeah when you pay $100 for a game at launch and at least $30-40 for every DLC + season passes you will a certain way. Smh

I was taught at a young age that the worst customer is one that leaves and doesn't come back and never says why. And that it is the slow killers of businesses. But maybe this is different because it's just a video game. I don't know, just was reminded of being told that long ago! It was a Canadian Tire district manager that told me that. 😂
