Bad Juju catalyst
The 45 tributes to get the bad juju catalyst is way too much of a grind. Sorry to vent my frustration, but it's too long of a grind and expensive to get. It takes planetary resources, glimmer, bright dusts, and imperial coins. Then after getting the catalyst, there is more grind to work on to masterwork it. My friend and I just think something needs to be said to get something done for others. With the tribute hall getting vaulted, leviathan, nessus, mars, titan, and mercury on November it doesn't give us much time to grind for it because some of us have to work for a living. As long as your completing the bounties for Calus and turning in your Boons of Opulence, it will reduce the cost to purchase each Tribute that is sold for materials and Bright Dust.

3 RepliesIt took me 2 weeks to get the catalyst all on my own, it was annoying and I was broke in the end but the catalyst is definitely worth it. If you purchase the season passes and reach rank 100 every season, you should have thousands of materials to spare.

I would do that grind 24/7 over the mida grind.

I spent many resources on it back then, and so, I'm gonna unlock this 45th Triumph this week.

I work 50 hours a week took 6 months off of destiny 2 and still grinded bad juju and the catalyst and grinded to activate it, stop -blam!- and complaining and either do the work for it and get it if you want it, or shut up and stop crying cause it's not given to you when you bought destiny2

Yeah it was pretty stupid. Still don't have it. At least after beyond light I hope it will be put back with a better way to get it.

Do the bounties. Each bounty gives you a 1% discount, up to a max of 80%. Do the four bounties every day for 20 days.

Edited by Pure: 8/27/2020 11:37:05 PMNot only has it been out for a full YEAR. It isnt even that much of a grind. I did all the steps on day 1, finished the cata and moved on with my life. Didnt even wait for boon bounties to rack up discounts. Planetary mats not really affected. Stop crying please. Either do it or dont. Your work schedule has nothing to do with this game. You dont even need to spend bright dust, there are 45 other tributes you can do :)

As for getting the kills required for the catalyst hop into the whisper mission and make your way to the grass room. You can farm the infinite shadow thrall that spawn. You'll get the catalyst done in about 15 mins.
