So many destiny players think they need to cap as many zones in control as possible. This is how games are lost.
Cap two zones, and STAY NEAR THOSE ZONES.
Defending the zones you have will win you the game.
Just because there is a zone you don’t have, doesn’t mean you have to go get it.
This traps the enemy team to a singular spawn location.
Pvp 101.

Who cares about winning when I can just run around with Skullfort trying to bash the other team’s heads in with my own without even firing a single bullet?

8 RepliesBounties, once done orbit unless i'm feeling generous enough to actually play which happens once every thirty or so matches

3 RepliesMy biggest problem with control is the people who think they are supposed to do nothing but slay and cap no zones like they are god tier players when they aren't. Don't understand why so many people put so much effort into losing when if they had just captured one or two zones the team would have won. And the worst part is 90% of the time they don't even end up with the most kills.

4 RepliesControl is a OBJECTIVE based game mode. Not get as many kills as possible. You can slay the enemy team, but it won’t matter if you don’t hold the zones. This is why the phrase “hold the B-line” was created. Don’t go further than zone B. Just hold two zones and defend them.

4 RepliesTrying to teach this community how to play an objective based mode is like trying to teach a cat to go play fetch.

So many destiny players think they need to cap as many zones in control as possible.
Destiny players don't capture zones at all, I think you're playing a different game.

1 ReplyDont tell me how to play Clash
-
2 RepliesMost people only play crucible for quests that pretty much all involve killing people. That’s the only reason I play crucible, so I don’t give a shit about winning, I just need the kills.
-
Hahaha you actually expect the Auto rifle blueberries to participate in tactics that benefit the team? I’ll admit, I expected that too. But sadly all they know how to do is hold right trigger with their Suros/Gnawing Hunger/Summoner. There’s no getting to them. Trust me lmao.

Zones? I don’t know what you’re talking about. There are people shooting so shut up and shoot back!

1 ReplyWhat is zone? I just shoot the red people. 🤤

1 ReplyThis is too much info for people to take, heck..sometimes people can’t even grasp raid concepts.

In a good team set up, There are 4 people protecting two of your zones while two others are trying to push into zones you don't have. In Iron Banner I find it best to score a power play once the spawn has flipped in your favor. You can use it to your advantage if done skillfully. Then take power ammo or super and amass lots of points.

Very true. I hate when you're in a good spot, your team has two caps and you're holding down a lane well. Next thing you know 3 people teamshoot you from behind becuase a few twits on your team runs to thier point and spawn flips them so they are all now behind you. Pretty much guaranteed to happen in most matches.

Some maps don’t lend to this unfortunately. Also be careful what you wish for. I like a fast paced game over a camp play to time style. People need to be cognizant when they push to not flip the spawns though. That’s the most aggravating thing.

Everybody knows control is played like musical chairs.
-
People just want to be like their favorite streamer and just ignore the zones.
-
Who cares, people only play pvp in destiny for weekly challenges.
-
1 ReplyThats why I dont like CBMM, the "good" players just chasing kills. At the end they are with 30+ defeats, but fking zero zones.
-
That’s why clash needs to be the main PVP mode instead of control. I don’t play the game to stay near a zone.
-
2 RepliesThis happens in every objective based FPS. Destiny isn't special in this instance. People want kills, they don't want to defend an objective, or even win half the time, they just want kills.
-
It's not about controlling a zone. It's about how efficient your KDA is. Just look at the (Find FireTeam) match up. Folks are looking for your ratio to be good and not what you controlled in one game or another.
-
Except most of the sweats don’t give a rats astral diamond about controlling the zones and winning. They just want to run around stomping peeps and having fun. QP should be clash not control
-
2 RepliesUm, NO!
-
That’s why I don’t like 6v6 anymore
