How bungo turned our Destiny into a fortnite simulator

Why don't you just go out there now and play a battle royale ? For me it's simple, I don't like loosing my gunfights because of luck. I like to equip stuff that I know is effective at that particular event, and I like to learn my loadouts and improve my effectiveness with them... On the other hand, a battle royale just throws some loot at you at random and asks you to run looking for more, and most importantly : a battle royale doesn't have a progression system Basically you and everyone else just get in there and face up in a game of luck. And I don't like that. If I lost to not forgotten, that meant I have to get better to get a not forgotten myself. Destiny has robbed us now that feeling of being ready and optimal in two ways. 1) gear progression: which means you can be better , the better your gear is. That was ruined by sunsetting. 2) light level progression: This is turned into a boring chore that we do the first 2 weeks, while the pinnacle grind is just a punishing RNG frustration fest. In other words, it feels like we don't have progression any more, you get in with what ever you have in the inventory, play the content, move on. And I don't like this one bit sir, no I do not.
