It’s not a message it’s just pathetic, it is clearly separating the two kinds of people who play this game, ones who cannot be bothered to grind but still want all the good stuff and the ones who put the work in for the rewards. Don’t delude yourself that this is anything other then a bunch of losers jumping on a bandwagon and exploiting a glitch. I got all three of my characters levelled up super quick and easy the legit way, there is no need for this. Destiny is a looter shooter, it’s about playing content levelling up to play other content and eventually getting to pinnacle content. If you don’t like that system then don’t play the game.

Afk forge farming has been a issue since it launched they only now paid any attention to it. The issue at hand is that they messed up the umbral engrams which I can still quite easily farm even using a remote desktop from my phone to relaunch forges while spending time with the wife or something else more worth my time then playing contact underlevelled with people who dont know how to deposit motes or the ball for that matter.

I wonder where people got the idea that grinding (working, doing chores, teadius hamsterwheel of the same shit for years) a game is some kind of acomplishment. It's not! It only shows you've got to much time in your hands. Hard content however is an acomplishment. Grinding b.s. lightlevel isn't. The only thing it does is it forces people to grind things (do shit they don't like) to play the new content! On top of that, you've payed for that content! Somehow a lot of gamers got confused along the way, great mind manipulation by the gaming companies that you should work before you can play some new content. Go F yourself! I payed for content! Not for a second job! GAMING SHOULD BE FUN!! B.s. lightlevel, bounty grinding is not relaxing ore fun! Don't get it twisted. Some where along the way the manipulated you in to thinking you need to work for it, grind, to be elite! It's b.s.! It's got nothing to do with skill! You've payed for a product and you should be able to play that content. Not be forced do chores to artificialy extend playtime! You've payed them! They should deliver your product! Al this grinding they force you to do is an adicton, disguised as an acomplishment. It's not, it's just playtime extension.

Nah man, I've been grinding destiny for 5 years and enough is enough with level locking everything. I'm not gonna spend hours and hours and hours grinding my light level to play something that is only available until the end of season. It's an exploit - not a cheat, and if I get suspended, wicked. That means I'll not bother with purchasing Bungie products again.

sorry bud but i'm a real adult with a house and a partner. I don't have 18 hours a day to slurp MD and shovel hot pockets that my mom is buying to play a dungeon 2 times at the end of the season. move on and quit being a Karen.

It's not even a glitch. Being able to AFK farm forges has been a thing ever since the forges have been released. Why get on to the player base when all they're are doing is using something that has been in the game for over a year?

I did all 3 of my characters legit too...you did not do it super quick.

Technically speaking, YouTubers exploited it and showed the community. I still consider it grinding because you're not guaranteed an engram every forge completion and you have to let your character sit there while you do other stuff. Remember people exploited Last Wish too. It's not all about losers jumping on the bandwagon in this case.

Imagine some of us have an actual life outside Destiny and we don't have that much time to level up on 3 characters.

So do i but i manage to get it done in my spare time, poh, a few strikes, gambit and crucible that's it. Stop complaining and go invest your energy into something more productive if the game dosen't suit you.

Worry about yourself mate. Playing the same shit again to increase a number so you can play the new content is boring. Yes you can do it legit but it sucks. If you have fun doing that then good for you but no need to rain on everyone else’s parade. Just go back to running strikes.

There are countless other games out there that follow a nearly identical model to D2. I'm starting to think people just can't accept that maybe this game isn't for them. I'll agree that the grind is stale but posts like this claiming that it's a message to bungie are a joke. Simple fact is that it's more efficient to take advantage of the bug so people are doing it. I get that and i can't personally say that i agree with it and i understand why they are doing it. But don't disguise it as some kind of moral high ground. Call it like it is.
