HI there I have played this game since D1 launch and right through D2 untill now. The game right now is unplayable not only is the lag unbearable but there are so many broken stupid weapons. One shot primary grenade launchers, long range fusion rifles that one shot kill, but you nerf Not forgotten a gun that actually took time to acquire and could be easily out shot by last word or a mountain top etc. Is the connection gonna change when It goes to Steam? This peer to peer connection has not worked since D1 so why keep us having to put up with that crap? This game has so much potential but these things let it down so severely. I myself are not pre ordering Shadow keep until I see these things addressed because its not balanced at all.

I’m done, I’m quitting this game before they try and take more money from me and then take away past content, the past content is what was good and keeping me here but now all I can see is the abused metas in the crucible and no end to the reign of autos. Bungie lost me when even after they saw a problem with the hard light choose to turn a blind eye to the rest of the 600 rpm autos that also have the potential to map and melt. Fixing destiny is also gonna take a lot more work than trying to put a bandage (felwinters sniper) back into the game. They are putting people into the position where you can use these weapons and slay in the crucible without even trying. I am a very try hard person and to see people abusing the crap outta this makes me wanna Antaeus ward Bastion slide into bungies headquarters and see what they got to say when they can’t run because my summoner is too strong for them. What ever happened to weapon diversity like where did that go, all I see now is summoner shoty, or Suros mindbenders/felwinters sniper. I’m more of a sniper like of course I’m going to have a problem with shotguns but my options for a primary just become so freaking limited if I actually want to not get outgunned by an auto you feel me? Trials is gotta be the most prime example of this and trials is the reason I returned to D2 but now I can see I should have never came back as this game is also just the biggest waste of time out of any game I’ve played. It coulda been a much better game but bungie has gone every wrong way of trying to make it a “decent” game. I honestly prefer playing other games much more not because at least they are consistent and don’t try and squeeze more and more money out of its community. I’ve also though about starting a petition to see how many people I can get to start playing d1 again by forcing bungie to make content for d1 again and leaving d2 to die since it’s bleeding out right now. But the day that people will band together like that is the day that bungie is just gonna stop making content for this game anyway since they suck at it already. Reskins are not new content. New content is new content.

4 RepliesGet off the mcdonalds wifi and you’ll be fine.

6 RepliesThe dev team is full of fortnite fans so that explains 😉 Can't wait for the battlepass! NOT!!!

4 RepliesAll u do is play PvP. PvP hasn’t changed in forever but now the game is trash? Maybe go find a different game that was actually made primarily for PvP.

2 RepliesEdited by blade329: 9/9/2019 2:20:27 PMThat being said, D2 is the in the best state its ever been. It was a lazy low effort hack job at launch and they've spent the last two years trying to undo that disaster.

You're talking about PvP. Crucible has always been the single worst experience In PvP gaming by a huge margin. Why would you pick up crucible if you like PvP?????? Play destiny for the PvE and then play a real PvP game for your PvP needs.

Newsflash dude. The game is about more than pvp.

Edited by stonecold_venom1: 9/9/2019 3:30:03 PMMaybe they should go back to basics to re-learn their roots and what Destiny was originally about "players choices" working with the actual community... In my opinion they lost their ways, got greedy and forgot what gaming was about.... FUN!

Bungie is more openly concerned with making the game more addictive than “fun”. Why? So you’ll make their Pay-to-Pay-to-Play-to-Pay structure so successful that you’ll deny it and even defend it.

StevenDraven you make some valid points and i agree that eververse must be removed from this game but, Whether we wanted it or not, we've stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let's get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta'aurc. From what I can gather, he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank just outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold.....

3 RepliesNo one at bungo has any creative idea anymore, reskins and old re-used content seems the way forward with them now. Any good ideas will be placed in the Eververse store for you to purchase. Poor leads and bad writing, content is hard, greed and I think a total lack of dedication to destiny is where they are. They should sell destiny to a good dev studio and concentrate on a campaign game like Halo, live service seems too hard for them to keep going

The nerf to not forgotten was needed so other primaries in the game could at least be playable. If there is only one gun in the game dominating everything then thats not balance. As for the special weapon spam, yeah its an issue, it became an issue when forsaken released and players were allowed to use special weapons in their primary and secondary slot. The game no matter how much everyone hated it, was most balanced with 2 primaries. The issue back then was the terrible time to kill that forced players to team shot and camp in the back of the map. Bungie only had to buff all primary weapons ttk! Thats all they had to do and the game would’ve been balanced and actually fun! Submachine guns would be the shotguns we have now, shotguns would be an actual high skill weapon since it would require players to know the map in order to stay alive and do well. Every weapon in the game would be viable and because everything killed faster no one would camp in the back.

It's the 21st century as a consumer you're supposed to be a hungry hungry hippo, wolf it all down and ask for more even if it is regurgitated effluent and dont you dare say a word or people will call you snowflake and triggered. I hate my species.

Because doing things is hard.

You realize people say this exact same thing with every single update and after it drops everything is still fine right

Bungie have some incredibly talented artists and programmers, but they are rotten at the top and, honestly, the last 2 years it’s felt like no-ones steering the ship. Summed up in 2 words, the problem is Luke Smith.

because of incompetence paired with greed , also a important factor is people who support that with their money

1 ReplyHi there, I've been playing since around the release of D2's launch, and have seen it evolve quite a bit, especially PvP. First of all, if you're having connectivity issues, that's on you, not Bungie. I've never had a problem with bad connection ever since I updated my internet, and we had a literal fossil as our old modem and router set up, as the tech guy told us when he came in to check it out. Secondly, Bungie are still trying their best to balance out the issues. Yes, fusion rifles are an annoyance and everyone rages at them, but they aren't unbeatable, especially if you get the drop on the enemy. You missed the main issue of PvP of my opinion, which is the Super spam after the first wave, and how everyone uses wandering supers that last far too long for their own good. You're comparing apples to oranges when you say Not Forgotten was nerfed when it could be beaten out by grenade launchers. Of course a grenade launcher would win. Grenade launchers are special ammo weapons. That's like complaining a pulse rifle can't beat out a sniper with the same skill level. Also, anyone who's gotten Mountaintop legitimately will tell you that it's not easily acquired. Your points you made are exclusively for PvP, and ignores the arguably larger part of the game, which is PvE. Is Destiny 2 broken? By your points, no, it isn't. Is PvP broken? Partially, but Bungie is also working to fix that.

Okay, goodbye!

2 RepliesI'd love to ask them, outside of any 'on the record' interview if they really have the same passion for the franchise that they did originally. Because to me they definitely don't, each update seems to bring less and less and even sandbox tweaks seem to be minimum effort fixes. It really feels like Bungie are struggling hard now they're independent and according to Luke Smith they were already at breaking point for the annual pass.

2 RepliesCoke and money make people jaded and lazy. They once had a creative vision, got super successful, and now they're just trying to milk the last penny out of every old asset and see how far they can push this recycle fest.
