Soltice Armor too Grindy waste of time
When in shadow keep everything except this grindy a$$ Armor set wasting your life away for what something that will essentially be free drops when you do the shadowkeep campaign

It's absolutely a waste of time. "But armor 2.0". Great. Second shadowkeep arrives ALL armor drops are 2.0...so why care if you have a set BEFORE it drops?

Did my hunter this year and stopping there. Not fun at all. Not considering grinding for the Titan/Warlock armor like last year. That armor looks gross anyways so that works out. Bungie really has people hooked by reading some of responses on the forums.

9 RepliesNah man, youre just lazy. Its totally worth the grind especially after you get the full set and you use solstice packages to get enhanced perks for literally everything. On top of that the set is gorgeous.

i haven't done an single min of the event so i have save both my sanity and blood preasure from all the stress of grinding and constant kneeling at the statue like i am an worshipping zealott at an church prayer . that and looking like an chocolate and vanilla ice cream.

19 RepliesOnly parts I found grindy were the Super kills with arc sub class on warlock. And the mini bosses. Other than that it is a very easy grind.

Except you don't get it if you don't unlock it now. And also, you have one freaking month to get the armor. Take your time. You don't have to do it all now if you don't want to.

5 Replies1. Its optional 2. All video games are a waste of time, regardless of game mode or activity. 3. The 2.0 mod slots require you to level the armor to unlock, so solstice set will indeed give you a head start (and it's a full set, that you can farm rolls on)

2 RepliesThe sadest thing is there are a ton of complaints on here twitter and other places and I have yet to see a single response from anybody at Bungie about any of it. They will probably wait till it is over like usual and say that they heard a lot complaints and will work on things in the future like they have several times before. We have been down this exact same road with the Eververse stuff and the mindless grinding of things.

It's just the fact that half the stuff on the greens is nothing to do with the nice near map or game play. Why make a new something to play when you still have to do the same old shitty crucible and gambit and the same old boring strikes that you game up months ago

4 RepliesThe thing is we don’t know if it’s worth it. If Armor 2.0 sets are extremely hard to get, then the solstice armor grind is totally worth it. If the 2.0 armor is everywhere and more easily accessible, well then it’s obviously not worth the grind. Bad thing is we won’t know until it’s too late. So I personally did it on my main, might do it on another but the grind is not worth me doing on all 3.
