So let me get this straight...
If I’m shooting at a guy, and somebody else sprints in front of him, then my aim gets dragged away with the sprinting guy. But if I’m shooting at somebody and he jumps to the left then nothing happens?

lol in Year 1 back when I was a console main there were two things trying to kill me: 3 nova bomb mini-balls 1 person The aim assist dragged my aim into the much less lethal nova balls rip

17 RepliesEdited by N7_Dredgen: 6/23/2019 1:56:46 AMFor the people who keep mentioning aim assist - this is NOT aim assist. It's actually Sticky Aim. They are two different concepts. Sticky aim forces a cursor to prioritize the closest target/sticks to them (hence the name). Aim assist helps guide the gun/projectle towards said target. This is why when somebody runs between you and your opponent, the cursor sticks to the guy in the middle - he's the new priority. I first learned about this in Tom Clancy's Division which has a setting to toggle both features off independently. You can have aim assist without sticky aim and vice versa. Sticky aim is useless garbage.

4 RepliesTeammate collision is much more of a problem with me than occasional aim assist messing up my aim. Why tf can mr blueberry run into me repeatedly and screw up not only my aim but my movement as well. Honestly probably my biggest gripe with this game lately.

1 ReplyI used to have this problem on my XB1, but I switched over to PC and I have no problems. When cross-save comes, you can switch to PC with no loss of progress.

Love the aim assist drag when it happens with a grenade throw so I just chuck it at nobody.

Drives me up the wall. I basically only ever use a bow in PvP, and the amount of times I’ve been pulled away from a headshot by the aim assist is crazy.
