Boring. Got a “new” sniper with stats identical to Ellegy-43 except that the reload is slower. What’s the point? It’s just The Well in a different place. A jumble of corridors and rooms with spawning points. Probably took Bumgle a couple of days to make, with two hour lunch breaks.

1 ReplyFeels like it's not going to hold up for that long.

22 RepliesEvery new activity is awesome. Come back after a month and say that.
-
11 RepliesI found it boring. A grindy activity with re-skinned items. No thanks. Do better, Bungie.

I played for the first time today. Even with 6 players it was challenging, but fun. Even though I read how it worked, it was a bit confusing at times. I tried staying as close to the other players and followed their lead and we got through it okay.

5 RepliesThe only thing I'll say is that the end boss fight with the Vex Minotuar was probably the ONE boss fight since freaking Inverted Spire that felt genuinely fun and engaging. No, I'm not counting raid bosses in the above lump. I mean 'normal bosses' like Reckoning and strikes and other 'end game but not a raid' activity. A) It didn't rely on stomp mechanics
PRAISE THE SUN HOLY DAMN I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY MADE A NONE STOMPY FILLED BOSS FIGHT
B) The boss had an appropriate amount of health. You could burn him quicklly if you timed it right with wells, but not so quickly as to skip mechanics. C) You can damage the boss almost all the time which is god send. I hate bosses that are just immune to damage for so long you're literally WAITING because there's nothing else to do. (Yes, I'm looking at you... Nessus Fallen guy...)

Haven’t played it yet, but it sounds like everything I could ever want in a 6 player matchmade activity. Finally, a way to get a small taste of raiding! (This will change in September)
-
Inb4 people complain about it. Where’s Saltman when you need him?
-
1 ReplyI think we need more content like this in the future. It's like a mini raid! It's awesome!
-
Agreed. They managed to capture the feel of a raid in a less challenging activity.

6 RepliesEdited by TheShadow-cali: 6/6/2019 6:29:40 PMI liked it but the ended was the fun part. Do you know why?
Because there was no stupid timer 😂
-
Didn't get that far, after being made to play old content again just to get to it
-
Nope.
-
It rocks, plain and simple. It’s the mini-/match made-Raid we’ve always wanted. I can’t get enough of it.
-
3 RepliesEvery one just dies I can't belive I managed to help finish one last night the walls are savage. Just a shame i got turd loot drop as always
-
4 RepliesYeah a winding hallway in the dark filled with thrall and blackout applied was probably the most distressing thing I've played in D2 yet. 🤣😱😵
-
I agree. I had a blast my first run through. Cant wait to run it again at a higher light. I think they hit this one out of the park. For all the people saying it sucks because of sh$t rewards, you get better exclusive ones when you upgrade the chalice more. But great job Bungie i personally love the Menagerie.
-
4 RepliesThought the loot was shit. Then looked in the triumphs and seen it has its own armor set. No idea how or when we’ll be able to get it but I’ll give it a try. I’m solo and haven’t played since black armory so I have been switching between forges and this.
-
5 RepliesIt’s ok. It takes way too long for crap rewards. Now if there were exclusive drops, I’d be all in. Reckoning and Gambit are better.
-
I love it. It’s a great example of how matchmaking works for 6 player modes, but also why matchmaking wouldn’t work for raids. So I’m happy that the argument has now been put to bed.

Edited by MindfulPizza: 6/7/2019 1:02:10 PMIt what all use wanted , in first place not some over the top raids , but fun . wish all stikes and nightfalls were like it .

61 RepliesActually Vicarious Visions made this. The Activision studio that got lent to make content for the game. They also made Warmind. They are the biggest loss in the split between Bungie and Activision.
-
16 RepliesIt’s fun until you realize there’s no actual new loot 😂 slapping a shaded and calus name on something doesn’t make it new lol. I love the activity but as usual it’s masking clear laziness and deficiencies. Bungie clearly putting all their eggs in the September expansion. The annual pass has been nothing but rehashed bs and some new activities. Maybe a handful of actual NEW items.

3 RepliesEdited by Ogma: Destroyer of Worlds: 6/6/2019 7:40:53 PMI like it FAR better than the forges and The Reckoning. I want there to be an alternative version of raids that reward only a single item a week that are set up like this activity. THIS is the type of matchmade activities I want, and I wish they would abandon the leveled activities system and make it scale so that it remains approachable and challenging at the same time no matter what level you are.

its ok but the loot well it needs to be worked on
