Luna's Howl and Not Forgotten
Jumping on this before all the whining and -blam!- about the rebalance coming to LH and NF in Season of the Opulence.
It's not a Nerf. It's a rebalance to allow other weapons to compete with these two beasts of a gun.
Thank you, Bungie for finally addressing it. It was very much needed.

2 RepliesExactly, if the butthurts would actually use their brain and think they would realize that Luna/Nf just became the most consistent 150 handcannons in the game. The only handcannon that can 3 tap with 2 headshots and a body in it's archetype. Only thorn can do that and it's and exotic and needs a kill and requires you to pick up the remnant. Even harder hitting handcannons like ace of spade still require 3 headshots to kill initially. And can only replicate what luna is going to be able to do with memento mori active. Plus luna will retain the accuracy of the 180s. So basically a 150 with no bloom and no need to get a kill to 3 tap.

8 Repliesyea, next they will nerf 180s because peole will complain about kill clip servise revolver, next they will nerf 150s because pc people will complain this is all they see now, next they will nerf pulses because the will be too op since hand canons fell of the meta, next autos will be op time to nerf them too, now average weapon ttk is 1,2 seconds and teamshooting meta is back, good job bungie, keep it up seriousely if you ever asked for any nerf in this game you are a complete jackass and you are to blame for its state(yes mythoclast counts too you cryubaby piece of useless shit)

2 RepliesIt's a massive Nerf and the mental gymnastics here are huge. Magnificent Howl barely does anything now, since 150s already 3 tap to the head (yeah, head head body is nice, but I'd rather use Thorn for the DoT or Sunshot for the explosive rounds, or any legendary 150 for the option to have something better like Kill Clip). The only benefit I can see at all to using Luna's over literally any other 150 is literally reduced recoil in comparison, which is only applicable on controller...

2 RepliesIts definately a nerf These both are pinnacle weapons they are not supposed to be equal to other weapons. All 150s can 3 tap. If u can get a 150rpm god roll just by chance even from a pterol then they definitely should not be equal to NF or LH

Edited by woodvillians: 4/26/2019 6:37:01 PMi am a player from d1 and in the history of destiny they have neft the popular weapons , just look at d1 , thorn was nearly every where , also 1000 year stare and the cleaver dragon (that's few and there is more examples) all where put under the knife , so it was not a surprise to me that the guns in question was to be under the knife soon . it just how destiny works

You never know when someone could be dead serious on the bungie forums.) But it was needed. 150, I dont know. Maybe it will be good. Im glad its not a 180 tbh but 150's already 3 tap. Magnificent Howl did need a change tbh. I was thinking maybe only increase crit damage but i will like to see how this works.

The change they proposed is very much a nerf. Who playtests these dumb ideas? This will make the gun so niche, it will only work if your last shot is a body shot. Not the first or second. Also it only boosts body shot damage? Are you serious? So it's useless against supers, over shield, or well of radiance. It's a very dumb nerf

1 ReplyOr they could have just brought recoil & Bloom on Console in line with the recoil In Bloom on PC thereby avoiding nerfs. Also currently you can outgun a Luna with a last word, if you actually understand how to use last word and hand cannons in general. I know because I did it for several months.

You know I hate to say it but anyone who didn't know this was coming was lying to them selves..... It sucks and all but of course they got nerfed...... I'd rather see all hand cannons buffed to have less bloom and recoil instead but you know bungie only nerfs things.....
