Yikes. That's a lot of people not playing destiny 2. I wonder why? Could it be that destiny 2 sucks that badly? Where is everyone? Will they come back?

Its because you have too many trials players coming into quickplay with not forgotten, luna's howl, and other pvp specialized weapons... literally there is no way for other people to compete and keep up with these player except getting thier hands on the same weapons themselves and even that seems even more unlikely because you still have to compete with try-hard trials players. Essentially Bungie has created a problem by rewarding pvp-demigods with weapons that make them even better.

24 Replies13 million cant be wrong? How many voted Trump in? TWICE?
-
13 million players from both d1 and d2 who have ever started the game. These include the free play weekends, the demos etc. My wife has an account.. played for an hour, on my disc, decided she didn't want to continue etc.. this also comprises all the consoles etc.. Does it really matter how many don't play or who is playing. There are more playing this game that is 18 months old than there are those playing numerous other games found at your bargain basement sale price bin at the game store for 2$. It means the game is actually still alive and kicking and has regular players logging in.

Bungie flopped Destiny 2 launch badly, most left and never bothered coming back
-
Ok and? Leave then if it’s so bad or play more than one character
-
As opposed to all the other games that came out a year and a half ago and are still played regularly? That's a pretty short list. And I know im not alone in saying that i dont like battle royal games, and overwatch just isnt my kinda thing.
-
Oh and it could be people just don't no life the game you idiot
-
But thing is that many people can be wrong see history lots of people thought the earth was flat but a lot also thought it wasn't

PvP isn't improving after the massive buffs to 2 out of 3 classes and the massive nerf to the other one followed by a mediocre buff to the worst panic super in the game and joke buffs to the other shit. That's supposed to last 3 months. This wasn't a biased update at all. Bungie have hunters and titans more ways to counter nova warp as well as just making the supers great while assassinating warlocks entirely. But Bungie love warlocks so much and hate the others. All evidence points to the contrary but nobody will notice and everyone will argue against it.

7 RepliesSo PvE IS more popular than PvP in this game. Interesting...
-
Crazy thought- maybe not all of us want to play on a daily basis?
-
Edited by joey big guns: 2/14/2019 8:44:13 PMAre they up a bit? A few das ago they were at 325k, lol. Are those the combined Destiny and Destiny 2 stats or are those separated?

I don't think you understand that Destiny always has a moment of drought content. Also there's a ton of great games out there and Apex is taking population from everywhere. The population drop is expected.

Sounds like D1 to me

9 RepliesHow many voted for Trump? They were wrong.

8 RepliesHow many are playing the new Black ops? It's was the highest selling game last year wasn't it? Why is Activision stock dropping after they admitted Overwatch is seeing a significant decrease in player engagement. How many people has WoW seen over the years? They have around a million monthly subscriptions. How many people are playing Red Dead 2, it was number 2 in sells last year. What about Fallout 76? Anthem is only projected to sell 6 million copies, does that mean Destiny was more successful? How do you measure the games success? I agree the numbers are unusually low but we are in a content drought. Most daily players have everything except a few annoying RNG items, most casual gamers play different games everyday. I don't expect Bungie to shut down the servers just yet, even if they did would it really matter? In the end it's just a game.

There’s just a lot of games to play right now. I have been playing RE 2 Remake like crazy. No matter what comes along, I will always be a Guardian.
-
2 RepliesWhat are the other games 2 years after dropping ?? That's the question

26 RepliesEdited by CarlosFDC: 2/13/2019 1:43:22 AMBecause everyone have lifes? because everyone can play other games and no one is married with destiny 2? why you and your type of people think that we can't play destiny and other games?.
-
The PvP is including Gambit Actual number PvP non gambit from guardian.gg is 249k This is when we have crimson! Many of my clan mates doesn’t play anymore :( Been looking for months to play SoTP...still nothing
-
No new content = nobody playing. As soon as we get more, people will come back - although for the annual pass model, I can't see large numbers flocking back. It will take another expansion the size of Forsaken to get the numbers back up significantly.
-
6 RepliesI’ll never understand how people can think 500k+ players is somehow a small amount.
-
3 RepliesOut of 13 million total players of all time? Wow. I would say 13 million people who played the game at any point is a success. Pity people are only driven out of profit and pennies.

The problem with this is what it doesn't tell you is of the 451.3k crucible players, 450k of them are still loading in.... Also of the 572.6k pve players, 572.5k of them are on LFG while sitting in orbit
