Bit unfair to issue suspensions when you’re placing people into teams that have 2-3 people missing and are about to lose. Other players shouldn’t be penalised for other people abandoning games.

50 RepliesPeople should not be penalised at all for leaving! It's almost an example of how important bungie thinks it is. I haven't had a ban but have had a couple of warnings. I only get a small piece of me time when my children are in bed. I choose to spend that time playing d2 as my d1 disk is broken. The 2 warnings I've had have been when I've loaded into a match, made a start and one of my children have woken up crying. Like any good parent, I drop my controller and get to my child as quickly as possible. When I get back, if I didn't leave the match before rushing off, I've been returned to orbit with a warning across the screen. Am I supposed to let my child cry (which will wake up the other eventually) through potentially 3 rounds of gambit? Fuk you bungie!

A gambit suspension is more of a release than a penalty.
-
I suspended myself from that snoozfest gametype.
-
Best overall fix to this problem NEVER solo queue Gambit lol
-
Sounds like you are bailing on the game too? That's probably the reason for the suspension, not that other people are leaving you.
-
6 RepliesWhat makes it worse is they put a system that makes you want to leave gambit. The last 3000 points you get nothing for a loss so unless you have bounties it's not worth the time.
-
3 RepliesAnd another thing, if somebody in the team leaves the experience is already ruined, so then if another person on the team leaves why are they penalised? Do you expect us to sit and wait 20 mins just for a loss?
-
5 RepliesI got put in that game once. When I got my Super I invaded, popped my Palpatine hands and stood where the prime evil was. They all hid and I timed out. “Dude free light versus light kill?”

8 RepliesMeet Final Fantasy XIV: FFXIV penalises the first player to leave a duty. Following players are free to abandon the duty rather than butting their heads against a wall knowing they're at a disadvantage being down a person. Bungie, be like FFXIV...

1 ReplySadly, half the time it's not even people quitting, they're being deliberately kicked from the match by the other team, via 'stress testing' people's IP addresses via a third party website specializing in such. I've gotten Gambit suspensions for 'quitting' even though I didn't quit, I black screened and then got weasel/boar/bee/etc. errors and was kicked to the title screen. I mean, why would I leave a match where my team was winning? Or the time I got locked inside the starting room in Gambit, because of some network manipulation shenanigans from the opposing team, who were losing. I had to watch my team lose in the second round because I couldn't help them at all, I tried sui* on a grenade, to no avail: I did not respawn into the match, but right back into the penalty box. Meanwhile it looked to others on my team like I wasn't doing anything, or wasn't playing. :( I quit playing Gambit for these very reasons: not worth it to try for a better Trust roll or Bygones roll when it's so easy for unscrupulous players to simply cheat their way to winning a match. And then the person who got DDoSed out of a match, or lagswitched by the opposing team

I suspended myself from that shitefest months ago.
-
After 3 resets and nerf of EP shotty my fervor for gambit has waned
-
2 Replieshas anyone ever been suspended for quitting strikes?
-
I still quit and will indefinitely, they have so many issues with their matchmaking, I'm glad all of these games are releasing right now.
-
Why is that?

Gambit is grad since it doesn‘t really matter how unbalanced the teams are. I know some of you might think what kind of idiot I am, but I played enough gambit to say that it’s possible to win a match with only one teammate (as long as he don’t give up). some of you already realized that it’s so easy catching up to the enemie team and that is why gambit is grad...
...for me atleast. there is 5% garantie that I convinced you.

the main issue is that the players in gambit are to week. (console)

every thing I said in here is nonsense. Gambit isn‘t that grad.
4 RepliesIt’s a video game. If you take this crap seriously, you have a problem. If you act like a L in a dumb game mode is the end of the world....partner, you got bigger problems.

Did you quit it finish the round yourself?
