Buff Xur. It’s been at least 2 months since the forsaken expansion came out and he hasn’t sold one new thing???...I don’t care if he’s on an automatic cycle; manually change it

We should be able to buy enhancement cores from him.

1 ReplyHe should have offered random Y2 stuff for a higher price or different currency eg. Strange coins. It was never a problem in D1 when he sold new gear and it wouldn’t be now. I honestly, don’t see the opposition to this.

Since the beginning of Destiny, I thought Xur was there for the people that got boned (no lube) by RNG. Since Xur don’t have my back anymore and I’m getting boned (no lube) by RNG, I’ll play more when some changes are made.

It’s not so much a problem with xur. He serves a purpose. The problem is with the in game drops. Hardly any exotic drops, and when they do drop, there’s a good chance they’re repeats. Three simple parts to this for bungie to implement: Exotics should drop in a more regular fashion, even if very very rare. If you put the hours in, you should get the rewards. With the above in mind, Exotics shouldn’t have the chance of a duplicate (unless your collection is complete 🤷♂️). The latest infusion and collection/reacquire systems makes duplicates pretty much useless. Xur keeps supplying the old stuff for completionists, it’s crazy and plain wrong that he has become relied on for exotics because the game won’t drop them.

I stopped looking for him a while ago

Xur has his purpose. The rolls on his year 1 gear is useful. Plenty of us got "Hands on" on the Skullfort. That roll was godroll for that exotic.

Designed for new players to catch up and for those who are missing y1 gear. That is his intention right now. It's good that he's not offering y2 version but we could use some other items to collect.
