Mercury shouldn't be a flashpoint location
It takes forever for the single public event to pop up... Theres cabal to the left of where we spawn in... The developers maybe should've thought of putting a cabal excavation event like the ones on edz and io.. Idk just a thought.. But mercury sucks for flashpoints

2 RepliesTheres heroic adventures for 35%, heroic public events for 20%, and guess what genius... Lost sectors count as well. Read the description for flash point before you complain about it.

This is why I dont bother with this flashpoint. That planet just needs to be fed to the Leviathan, along with the Osiris fanboy.

That was there for a reason due to the extended times between the single public event... Then they change flashpoint mechanics and forget that Mercury needs to be a special case, or they decide they can't be bothered to code it as an exception. Typical Bungie, they often fail to honor their previous commitments when making changes down the line I did the event twice on Heroic and the Lost Sector and still only 50% so I gave up for now. It is painful and not the least bit enjoyable

Eh whatever. The seldomness of the event can be a pain, but what you can do is do it if it's avialible, do the heroic adventure, then the lost sector and finish with some patrols. If the event doesn't appear, it probably will after all the other steps.

1 ReplyThe problem on any flashpoint now is that patrols and yellow bar powerful enemies, like on Mercury, no longer give you a % towards the flashpoint completion. One of the dumbest things bungo have done to extend your time ingame. Such a slimey company

11 RepliesI simply don't do anything on Mercury. Flashpoint? Nope. Fly into a mercury strike? back out and go to orbit. There is nothing that will make me go to that planet.

I thought so too at first, but honestly it's like 1 heroic adventure, 1 heroic public event and like 3 quick runs of the lost sector. It's actually my favourite flashpoint now because it is the quickest.

1 ReplyI got the flashpoint done in under 15 minutes. Is Mercury dull and boring? Yes. Could they have done a better job. Yes. But getting the flashpoint done is not a hassle.. I spawned in when I saw there was going to be an event, did the heroic event, went and did the adventure (which does count toward the flashpoint), did the lost sector, and did one last public event. Done.
