Exotic engrams drops should be rare, but not THIS rare
Im one of the late comers, I bought the pre-order Cayde6 Forsaken pack, and Ive beaten the entire story of the game, and all the DLCs and not once have I seen an exotic engram drop. Sure I have exotic weapons and armor from missions, but that doesnt change the fact that E-Engram drops are far too exotic in my opinion. I agree they should be rare, and Ive read that they used to drop all the time, but now it feels like the dont drop AT ALL. Please fix the drop rate.

I still have yet to get one new exotic, I have played for multiple hours each week so far getting every powerful engram there is to get.. not one drop

All the exotics I've gotten have been from year one. Many friends get Lord of wolves queen breakers bow and other stuff.

Gotten three exotics since forsaken. Transvestite steps, huckleberry, and skull of dire ahamkara. The steps didn’t even drop as powerful gear.

remember on d1 exotic all the perks were 3 times stronger then purple gear stats.. and game brought it all back again, so exotic were guardians again . just got find the rolls for that one piece again,

Edited by MindfulPizza: 9/17/2018 10:55:54 AMThe drops are find , since get random rolls on them , it just the fact people forgot that if keep item on you not equip still works for light level , on primes and powerful engrams if vault do not , and exotics get random rolls make self op if get right roll . if get right roll on exotics can op on pve and pvp . so way they got it great , do not got streamers like need it now , only way . hell they even not found out the builds yet for once on exotics.

Played about 40 hrs of forsaken on Xbox and ps4 and at about the same time played on both I had a Lord of wolves drop.

2 RepliesThe sky should be blue...but not this blue. Like I like blue, I think it's great it's blue...but a different amount of blue would have been better. I can't tell you exactly how much or how little blue...just a different blueyer blue would have been better.

I think Bungie is purposely throttling exotic drop rates for the first couple of weeks, and then they will ramp them back up a bit. So far we have Ace of Spades quest, Chaperone quest, Borealis from fated engram (if you are on PC or Xbox). 3 new exotics in 2 weeks isn't bad. They don't want to dump everything on us at once. I expect after this next weekly reset we'll be seeing more exotics drop.

as long as there are a good number of quest exotics the drop rate is good with me. i woudnt mind a tad increase in it though.

I Personally think the exotic rate is a bit on the low side and I understand the need for stuff to feel exotic I'm okay with that but things like Xur not being able to sell anything new I don't agree with I have been playing forsaken a lot since launch and I haven't gotten a single non quest exotic but what can you do but hope for three of coins to come back bungie to probably over swing the drop chance way too high or xur to start emptying those pockets

I've literally had my first two forsaken exotics drop at the end of strikes today. Both have been the Otherside sparrow... Can't say I'm exactly chuffed.

The only thing that needs to change is duplicate exotics. I've had one exotic drop and it was Wardcliff Coil. As for exotics in general I don't mind if they're this rare. I love knowing that no matter what activity I do there is a small chance I'll get an exotic. I enjoy playing the game simply for fun. Crucible to sweat and win, strikes to chill and sit back, Gambit if I want to rip my hair out because BANK YOUR MOTES YOU SPUDS, and Raid in a few weeks once I'm high enough level lol. Playing in general is fun now unlike in year 1 when I NEEDED incentive to play. Just relax, enjoy the game and exotics will come... Eventually.

4 Replies160 hours in and not one exotic drop. I've been saying this for a while that the newcomers are gunna leave if the drops aren't fixed. Exotics are the best part of the game, and playing with the Sunshot in the beta was what originally brought me into the game. A lot of those new players we got from the PS4 free month game are gunna leave if they don't have any of the coolest weapons in the game. And everyone knows we can't afford to lose any more of our player base

My 1st dropped for me over the weekend, it was the ‘Ace of spades’. It’s really annoying if this is going to be the norm, I expect my next drop will be the chaperone 🤣
