Powerful gear not powerful??????
So I thought the idea of getting the weekly milestones done was to get gear that levels you up? Well I just did the flash point and the "powerful" gear dropped at 500. How am I supposed to get powerful if the said "powerful gear" drops at below my current power level? The only items that are dropping over 500 are the prime engrams. Which I've gotten 3 so far but that's it.

If you check the companion app it will tell you if the gear is actually going to be powerful or just legendary

This has to be bugged. All my powerful gear is dropping at lvl 500, when i am lvl 514 atm. Either Bungie needs to label this differently or I just got fooled on like 5 separate powerful rewards. It's not even dropping 10 levels below my current light.

Same to me. Was 507 and the powerful gear dropped at 501.

2 RepliesSame thing happened to me. Did the Flashpoints twice now and both times only got 500 gear from the challenge.

3 RepliesIn case you haven't tried yet, Leviathan normal AND prestige do not drop powerful gear. I do not know about eow or sos normal or prestige but the game just got alot slower. Not entirely a bad thing if you think of powerful gear and prime gear as two seperate things.
