It has come to my attention that the 140 rpm handcannons in d2 forsaken will only do 70 damage to the head. Why, why, why??? Are we taking this conservative approach and trying to combine D1 and d2. BUNGIE, this is not okay.
And here’s why
Primary’s MUST be able to compete with special weapons.
In D1 shotguns were a huge cause of grief and animosity between players. For most of the population they found it hard to counter a ape. That was in D1 when primaries were far superior to its sequel d2. Even after the weapon changes in d2, you could release the common weapons in D1 as god tier competitive crucible rewards. Why are D1 weapons still so much better. The duke Mk 10 would be the best gun in d2. Why have we taken so many steps backwards. I like where things are heading but this is not enough. Not to be a downer. I just don’t want to be asking for more weapon buffs in forsaken. That would really kill my spirit. Once again I’m talking about the 140 rpm archetype. Not the 110 which killed with 1 head 2 body I’m talking about the Pali and eyasluna archetype.

6 RepliesI agree making it 3 headshots makes it really a 4 shot kill so nothing changed in my opinion : 110 rpm 1 head 2 body 140 2 head 1 body 150 3 head shots 180 2 heads 2 body that would make the most sense.

1 ReplyTime to kill is being made faster so all weapons are gonna get buffed and I recommend using the top tier meta ones too better devils, crimson those are some real spicy ones seriously if u can hit your crits I assure you'll be accused of cheating in no time!

1 ReplyI saw a 180 rpm 2 head one body. With a good role I’m sure 2 head one body will be a thing for 140s. I’m not gonna hate it or judge it until I try it. Don’t forget about the roles. A god role might 3 body map people, we don’t know yet. Relax

1 ReplyYou need to relax for a moment. The more conservative damage numbers don't change much at all. They still kill optimally at the same speed as their D1 counterparts. Not to mention kill clip/rampage are far more accessible compared to the other perks in D1, which inherently up the killing potential. Luna's Howl in particular is going to have a nearly identical TTK to TLW by the way. Good enough for you?

3 RepliesMostly every gaurdian depending on resilience can take up 200. Thats three headshots for 70's crits.

4 RepliesThe way the ammo economy is going to be will balance a lot of this out. Snipers will have issues with Ammo. Shotgunners that engage groups will have to reload even if they pick up because they only have 2 shots so they have to get kills. Sidearms, smgs and hand cannons are going to be a problem for rushers in this game. They honestly don't have the range to just dominate.
