Are things like tokens and Gunsmith parts getting reset?
I need to know. As soon as possible. I'm currently sitting on 2 full stacks of weapon parts and 500 crucible tokens. Can I hold them until forsaken?
EDIT: Vanguard, crucible and Gunsmith parts will not be wiped. I have no idea about planetary materials or their respective vendors.

3 RepliesBungo, you definitely don’t need to keep mum about the currencies and materials. Also, if you tick off a good amount of your community by resetting the currencies, then I would hope you give us a period where the drop rates for max power from all vendors was locked for those players plus Masterwork and “rare” items rates were increased. PS: If you’re still trying to figure things out then at least let us know about Iron Banner tokens BEFORE they possibly become useless in Year 2 Season 1.

I'm only saving my tokens up just so I can dismantle everything for legendary shards lol so I hope planet tokens will still be used in someway

For those of you that have stacks of planetary marks I'd then em all in and break down all the useless items for gunsmith parts and shards. From the gi vid is seems those are staying. I don't have many banked but I plan to start farming to do just as I suggested.

They wont get wiped but the vendors won't have anything new. If the Game Informer podcast was understood correctly.

4 Repliesif anything gets reset, like Iron Banner/Faction/Crucible/Vanguard tokens or bright dust.. i'm done i've done the work to earn the tokens, i've done the work to earn the engrams and saved bright dust.. you wipe that out or make them unusable for a new expansion, i'm done

1 Reply!!! ONLY CRUCIBLE , GUNSMITH AND VANGUARD will carry over!!! been confirmed on latest gameinformer podcast. But they never said they would be lost .... only that those three can be used for new gear and weapons.

He didn't mention planetary vendors but they probably wont have much new stuff.

No, you'll be able to use your current weapon parts and vanguard and crucible tokens to get year 2 gear when Forsaken arrives.

9 RepliesDoesn't matter. New release means new currency. You will get the same things you are getting right now from all of those vendors and tokens. The light level won't go up, the items won't change, and you will literally get the same things NOW that you will in a month and a half.

Have 12 stacks of weapon parts, 2 stacks of crucible tokens and 1 stack of vanguard tokens in vault with more (not complete stacks: 948 W, 117C, 250 V, 960 Raid) in inventory. and yes I will occasionally spend token when I need or want to get something. Generally after an expansion will also reset stack, just to see how much I can collect again. dropped 350 crucible tokens trying to get a weapon that I found out afterwards came from IB - boy was I disappointed (glad that I have 651 IB tokens ready for next event).

Read somewhere the mods we have will be useless. We can sell them to banshee for parts to craft new mods. But nothing on tokens or parts.

1 ReplyThey better not reset. I’m saving materials because there’s literally nothing left for me to earn, but I’m still playing to earn materials to use day one of Forsaken. If they throw all those materials and therefore all that work out the window then they clearly don’t understand their player base.

I have 7 stacks of weapon parts, 1500 crucible tokens, 1000 vanguard token, 600 IB tokens and I dont even know how many planetary tokens. If they wipe these I will be royally pissed.
