Howdy Bnet, it's been a while.
I've just read the most depressing article today that The Flood forum, or well, all of the legacy Bnet forum is going offline for good.
https://www.pcgamer.com/halos-legacy-forums-will-be-missed-especially-the-flood/
For us older members, The Flood was our home of tom foolery, shenanigans, and drama, and every minute of it was amazing. If you weren't around then, I'm so sorry. I essentially grew up on that forum when I was wee boy back in my "popular" days of Bnetting.
Amazing times were had back then, and there was always such good (and equally not so good) community members. From custom themes, to the 4chan raid, etc. It was all good times. It's a shame to see literally a part of my childhood being taken down for good.

1 Reply1. Why. Not even with a question mark; more like a raging demand than a question. 2. How can we get as much as we can archived? I am sad now. I was a member for only the last 4 years before everything shifted from Halo to Destiny, but it was still great.

1 Reply<Never participated. Never had an account. Only lurked from time to time. Honest question... do you want another Flood?>

All I had to show for my high school procrastination... gone

1 ReplyI've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Mythic members necroing Deej's faulty polls. I've seen Bobcast unknowingly dating a user's mother. All of those moments will be lost with time, like tears in the rain. Time to die.

It disturbs me because they're going to delete it without hesitation.

1 ReplyDamn... This post makes it even sadder for a destiny 1 player having not experienced old b.net....

I don't get why they're trying to distance themselves from one of the few things that made them great in the first place. I guess they're all ready to embrace the new reputation they gave themselves with the Destiny series.

Not a big deal.
