Amazing how much free time we have when not glued to our screens for hours on end everyday. This game is truly a cure for our D1 addiction. It’s turned us off so much to this franchise that we’re now actually getting back out there, and socializing with friends and family again. Who knew a bad game could have such positive life repercussions? Wow, pretty incredible.

1 ReplyPart of me thinks that Bungie did this on purpose. Some part of them knew just how fvkcing addicting the D1 formula was. I think that on one hand they were like "we have a social responsibility here to make this game less addicting", but then on the other hand were like "lets ramp up the eververse situation to make up for all the people who are gonna leave when they finally figure out that the addictive formula is gone. let's focus this at kids instead of adults...." I wish that they would just come out and say it though...

Or even, heaven forbid, reading for enjoyment.

Definitely was a cure for my D1 addiction. I haven't fired up D1 one time since D2 dropped. Not enough time for both versions.

I think it’s important to keep your gaming at healthy levels so that you can do things like shave and bathe and interact physically with other humans beings.
