Does nobody play this game for fun?
On this forum all I see are posts about how the game has no lasting content, once you hit max level there is no point etc.
Is that the only reason you bought the game?
So you could see some numbers go up?
Then once those numbers stop the game is done?
I don’t know about you but I bought this game because I enjoy playing it.
The gunplay is 10/10 and I simply enjoy doing the activities.

Just about every freakn day , I love it , like D1 there’s issues but it beats every other game I’ve played . Well nearly but in this day and age , to me it’s damn good fun

Yeah its fun... but it gets old quick without thoughtful end game experience and rewards. D2 is severely lacking that. Prestige mode not having a increase to your light level makes it an activity I will do one time. That's all. I don't care about glamour when its as bad as it is. Want to see real glamour? How about some wacky or badass designs that stick out like a sore thumb? Instead nope. EVEN FF14 is adding a new difficulty in its raid, its going to have the capped weapons drop but they are going to almost look like relic weapons. That's the kind of stuff Bungie has to do if they continue down this path. Make the grind HARD. Not easy. Easy is what lead to Guild Wars 2 dying.

Actually, yes, i did buy the game to see numbers go up. As far as i understood, this game was supposed to be a loot grind mmo rpg, similar to d1. Therefore i expected to grind loot endlessly, see numbers go up and feel good that im making progress and becoming stronger in my fight against the darkness. But id also like to do it while having fun. Except, 4v4 crucible thats boring as all hell, repetitive public events and a raid thats irrelevant after 1 run makes it both unfun and not at all grindy. Basically, i cant have fun while seeing numbers go up. Only number going up is my 2800+ legendary shards because ive already gotten every item in the game and after the first time, theyre irrelevant. Real fun game.

I like relaxing and enjoying all the pretty colors and sounds. If I want to stress out and over-analyze something, I'll go to work.

I was max level in Destiny 1 for a looong time and I kept playing it because of the funfactor, even though I already had everything... I'm not even max level in Destiny 2 and don't want to play it anymore....

I honestly just enjoy playing the game. I’ve finally hit 305 on one character. 304 on the others. But I may be ocd but I’m still farming Armor sets. The fact there is so many out there now makes me want to get them all even if it’s just to see which is better. Plus with the guided games now I’d enjoy running nightfall’s trying to help people or doing heroic events with the people just starting out in the world.

Yes, I have a family a fantastic job and my yard is mowed...... sometimes. Looking forward to Iron Banner "2" ENJOY GUARDIANS ..

Doing the same thing over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again is not fun. Farming public events is not fun. Running the raid for some pennies is not fun. Being rushed through a strike with absurd bulletsponge adds in a strike is not fun. Going up against the same gun in every pvp game is not fun. Getting the same exotic 10 times in a row is not fun. The playability of the game is amazing, the REPLAYABILITY of the game is insulting

7 RepliesHoly crap.... I figured it out.... I know why people don't like D2. It's much less of a gambling simulator. That fix of dopamine is no longer present or lowered as events and rewards are more structured.
