Are you seriously bringing back old weapons and armour?
So in the latest trailer we seen Starfire Protocol, Takeanaught and potentially a hawksaw and others.
This CANNOT happen. It's just can't, you cannot justify it at all.
If this is a decision that had been made. REVERSE IT NOW!

8 RepliesWhat would actually be great Is if we could take just ONE weapon through with us into Destiny 2 They could allow a selection of Exotics to be used in code And then locked & never seen again.... That way we would have a good selection of D1 Weaponry...... Just ONE choice What would it be ? Would you go 'power, rarity or left field'

That certainly is NOT the Hawksaw from D1. Gosh, please stop watching youtube videos, jump in right here in the forums and complain without even thinking for youself.

We would t take the gear with us but we would be able to find it around wouldnt we? And it would be hard and take a lot of time to make every exotic in D2 new without using old pieces of armour or ideas such as an additional grenade

1 ReplyWtf just because we lost our own property doesn't mean every piece of armor or gun we've ever owned suddenly fades from existence. They meant what we owned wouldn't come with us, not that we couldn't get old stuff back later. Can't believe someone actually started this topic.

I don't see anything wrong wirh it. Nostalgia is nice, and a few oldies won't hurt. They will probably be nothing like the originals in D1 and we will have far more new exotics to loot as well. I just wish they would work on making some exotic gear look better.

If I remember correctly, the Taikonaut was neither a warlock exotic or part of a gear set. But the Starfire Protocol must be a joke by Bungo.

3 RepliesFirstly, so far it has only been shown that MAYBE exotic armor will be back. The trailer showed ZERO exotic weapons from D1 coming back. Secondly, the Hawksaw's design is a Suros design. Suros pulse rifles LOOK LIKE HAWKSAW. It's to give the weapons uniqueness to each foundry. Why would they just switch that up for a sequel? They probably also have a different name for the Suros-style pulse rifle. Calm your tits.

"oh there's weapons and armor from d1 I'm cancelling my preorder and gonna bitch about it". I for one think it would be cool to see old and throwback weapons from d1 in d2.... just my opinion.

The question i ask myself is, do most of the people on these forums demand and nit pick stuff with their girlfriends/wives like they do on Destiny? Then my brain tells me they more than likely live with their mom so i just shake my head (not that head) n move on with my day.
