Nah man. They did this because they are too incompetent to balance weapons. It's the only way they could figure to do things. They've also dropped random rolls because it was too hard for them to balance things, now they can custom taylor everything and make sure that /only/ the meta weapons will be used, finally putting an end to players having any variety in how they interact. Seriously though this is probably a good thing not a problem.

I'm loving this. All I use in the Crucible is primaries. Yeah sure I'll use my grenades too and a super once or twice in a match but most of my attacks come from my primary by far. I mean come on. You're not one of those Titans that run around the map with a shotgun and shoulder charge players are you? Or a Warlock that uses melees any chance they can? Or a Hunter that's in constant shade step? I thought this was a FPS, you know a gun fight.
