Move from Disc to Digital
Hi!
This is a bit of a long read but I feel it needs some context.
I have been having problems with my PS4 auto ejecting the Disc from time to time, and everytime that happens Destiny closes. I bought the PS4 i 2013 and have had the issues ever since, I did send it to Sony and they swapped out the Bluray player. Still the issues remain and i have tried all the tips and tricks on this planet to stop it from ejecting the damn disc.
But my actual question is: Since I own Destiny on disc, but all the dlc are digital versions, can I simply buy a digital version of the standard game in order to play the game and all its dlc without the disc?
The Destiny Collection costs 60 euro on the PS store but only 30 euro if I buy it on disc which is really stupid. However I don't know if all the dlc I bought would still be usable, I feel like they should since all the dlc are digital codes that should be connected to my PSN account not the physical disc. I just need official confirmation about this, but there is no number or support email to Bungie/Activision.
PS. The PSN Store tells me that I CAN'T buy Destiny The Collection because I own The Taken King.

1 ReplyEdited by Kell of Kellogs: 2/1/2017 12:28:06 PMHi, The base game is only available digitally in bundles such as the Destiny - The Collection. https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/45110 If you are unable to purchase that from your console store, you will need to reach out to PlayStation customer support. Any disc version of Destiny you purchase will only ever be the base Destiny game. All DLCs are unlocked digitally and done so by redeeming codes on your console account.
