6 RepliesAn interesting idea. Personally I feel it would cause more frustration that joy. My optimal example of a pve mixed pvp mode is Halo 5 warzone: two teams vs each other, kills rack up points but theres a third party hostile to all players, aka ai enemies. Kill thoae to get points too. Some are smallfry but at times difficult minibosses or bosses will spawn. That sounds optimal in my opinion.

4 RepliesI prefer that we remember that we are soldiers fighting an enemy that is trying to annihilate Humanity. Armies that turn their guns on each other lose wars. Always.
-
11 RepliesI'd prefer a PvP patrol! You're patrolling earth when... BAM! Get sniped in the face by someone miles away! You can engage in a 1v1 or just battle it out like in GTA but also make a safe mode if you want to patrol peacefully! Would make patrolling much more interesting!

Love the idea man.
-
They already put pvp in pve you just have to see it.

3 RepliesEdited by mainenroku: 12/23/2016 12:45:22 AMNo because I don't want some elites trying to -blam!- my shit up in strike they can stay in the pvp world all they want though.
-
1 ReplyPlease keep the PvP Cancer in PvP. We get enough of their shit through Weapon Balancing. PvE is for people who don't want to PvP.....dont be like The Division.
-
1 ReplySounds like a mix of Dark Souls and Division. On paper it's good stuff but I'd burn my console and eat my game disc for dinner if I had to deal with people crashing my strikes while I'm trying to relax. Also, because I own both Dark Souls and Division, I can go play that if I'm acking for some random a-hole trying to ruin my pve experiance...

From a gameplay perspective it sounds needlessly complicated, and from a programming perspective that sounds like hell. Concept wise, I mean yea I'm a fan of dark souls, and destiny has its fair share of souls references. But I don't feel this work, be a pain to play, be a pain to balance, and not to mention pve players would bitch nonstop because you can't disconnect you system from the Internet to avoid it like in souls. In the end, it's a creative and interesting idea, but if bungie would ever contemplate it, both this concept and destiny would need work.

Edited by Pigloafs: 12/23/2016 3:45:12 PMwhen I saw "must equip memory of timur" i knew this would be bad. Also, Timurs Injector? wtf?
-
I can just imagine running to the undying cheese, pulling out an icebreaker, and watching that doorway.
-
Lmao so bungie can completely rip off dark souls invasions? Yea no thanks I'll play dark souls if I wanna get ganked...
-
Sounds like pure garbage.
"Timur's Injector"? That alone would make me never play.
-
That sounds awful.

4 RepliesNO! Keep that open world PvP shit out of games it doesn't belong in. This is destiny NOT Neverwinter and NOT dark souls, nor is it elder scrolls online. You want open world PvP, go play dark souls, Neverwinter, or elder scrolls online.
-
Someone needs to make a destiny based moba. I would play the shit out of that.
-
4 RepliesNo. Sry A better idea has always been to have them control an ultra or major instead, with limited abilities
-
10 RepliesNo! Pvp in destiny is trash and should be removed for good
-
1 ReplyI am still wondering where the game mode "can't remember the name" from Reach that was basically a large scale "battle" for control points. Reach was the last game I played before I got a PS3 (later a PS4) but I loved that game mode. Could we get that in Destiny? Please?
-
So the average Dark Souls 3 invasion. 1v3.
-
The injected guardians would look enemy based like: Fallen: scrap metal attached to armour Hive: that bio-organic stuff that grows Vex: red lights coming off of armour Cabal: cabal style... more bulk? Taken: taken. Splicer: siva wires running through armour.
-
1 ReplyThe strike team have to sign up for this mode too :)
-
-
Much better yet, inject into someones raid. Injectees must have full supers and gallies.
-
Just no.

Awful.
