Hawksaw is still the best pulse rifle in the game
So I've been using my hawksaw since early year 2 and I would like to know everyone's thoughts I currently think it can out fire any pulse rifle in the game the only one that gives a trouble is maybe a good role grasp of Malok any thoughts

The new iron banner pulse rifle owns hawksaw any day of the week bro. Especially if you roll high cal rounds

I find that my Final Duty can do well against most pulse rifles

3 RepliesGrasp, the waltz and clrber dragon all shit on hawksaw. It's not that a hawksaw isn't great, but entirely to do with the archetypes they fall under.

1 ReplyThe vendor Hawksaw feels like the best pulse in terms of consistency I have a God roll grasp (OES, CB, Braced, Feeding Frenzy) but I prefer Hawksaw over it I have yet to try the IB pulse, so no idea I hate the trials pulse. It just feels awkward Praedyths Timepiece is still my baby tho

Y3 trials pulse rifle shits on hawksaw. And a Clever Dragon with headseeker is brutal.

That new FWC pulse is pretty nice, vendor version so far since all I get are launchers and sidearms. The Trials Pulse is also pretty legit. I'm a Pulse main. And I have to say Hawksaw is the jack of all trades Pulse. Good fire rate, effect at nearly all ranges, fantastic stability.

Been using hawksaw for a while also, love it, but my clever dragon with counterbalance is amazing, easier to get consistent head bursts with hawksaw but because all pulse rifles kill in 3 bursts, whether its highest impact or lowest (doesn't make sense), the clever dragon, grasp of malok archetype can kill faster,

Clever dragon, grasp, PDX would all disagree with the correct rolls. The Y2 vendor Hawksaw is still very strong though.
