Before the butt hurt Hush fan or the salty JMP fan come charging in majestically shirtless, hair flowing in the wind, on their white horse, let them consider what I am saying and allow them to take it with a grain of salt and an open mind.
Now, let's begin today's lesson:
JMP double X and Hush Slays both present their videos with click bait, yet, both of them have claimed not to and, if you ask them, both of them would state that they don't. But they do it without realizing it. How? Well, :
-they try to sell you on the assumption that the weapon is "godly" or "op", when in reality, it rarely is.
-both of them are using their own skill to win gunfights and not the actual weapon.
-both of them play objective based games and then ignore the objective and focus on the enemy because the enemy team is most likely distracted by the spark, the salvage relic, or the control zone, which makes them easy pickings for Hush/JMPDoubleX.
-both of them camp in a close quarters area of the map where they can funnel the enemy team and pin them down, no matter what weapon they are using
-both of them try to assert themselves as "average joes", in order to try to relate to the audience when they are really PVP gods.
-both of them entrance their audience and convince them that the weapon is an "auto-win" button because they know that if they can convince their audience that a weapon is good, then that person will tell their friends and Hush and JMP gain recognition and subscribers.
But the vast majority of the time, the average player will not be able to go unbroken with a Finala's peril or get a breaker with a longbow synthesis because well, they're average. They do not have the same skills that Hush or JMPDoubleX does.
So why are Mr Fruit and Blessious more reliable than JMPDoubleX and Hush slays are, even though they are both less skilled and experienced? Because:
-they do not use click bait terms such as "godly" or "OP" in their thumbnails and video titles.
-they present the weapon as it is and not as it could be.
-they are honest and do not cut out moments of frustration or moments of failure.
-they don't try to sell you the weapon as a Business man: they try to show you the weapon as a friend.
-they are generally more relatable to the average player and the average players vastly out weigh the godly players.
-they use Satire and are highly animated in their own videos because they do not care and are not trying to be professional, they are trying to be entertaining.
-they use the weapon on multiple game types and not just Rift.
Those are the reasons why I believe that Mr Fruit and Blessious are more educational than JMPDouble X and Hush Slays are: because they are trying to show you what the weapon is and what it does. They are not trying to sell you anything so they have more freedom of speech when talking about the weapon.

8 RepliesEdited by Kofi: 5/22/2016 9:53:57 PMThe fact you wrote all this about two youtubers using clickbait which most people on YouTube do now concerns me
-
You look cute today

2 RepliesJMP does the same video every day: this new (weapon) is godly/op. Meanwhile he spawn traps in rift to get all his kills. I don't doubt he's a great player but his vids are too repetitive.
-
6 RepliesI just hate people who use the word godroll. I just say really good roll. Anyways, I went on to find a SirD longbow vid and ended up finding this extremely crappy YouTuber called Dan something (megadan or superdan...?) probably not the right name. Anyways he just would have the most false and click bait titles ever. Calls a hawkeye longbow with hand laid stock godly.

2 RepliesRegardless of whether or not you think Fruit is funny, you get a very realistic experience of how a gun performs when watching his videos. I've never watched a single video by those other people, but I'm aware of them. On principle I avoid any video with clickbait, it has the exact opposite effect on me.

Crybaby post lol

1 ReplyI am just curious as a person who does not pay attention to streamers, why do people get so up in arms about them?
-
So they're good people since they sway others from the good stuff. Also fruit went into an alley I don't like.

Edited by Bladedancer: 5/22/2016 6:17:08 PMI'm so glad someone finally pointed this out. I'm a huge fan of both Mr. Fruit and Blessious because they are both entertaining and give their honest opinions about weapons/other stuff. They always play to their style and if they don't do so well with a gun, they try to paint it in the best possible light in order to not discourage others from using it. Those (in my opinion) are the best weapon reviews.

2 RepliesHush is annoying. My friend knows his brother and plays with him sometimes. He's just an arrogant prick. I come up against him quite often as we live in the same area..i'm not as good as him but for some reason i kill him quite often.. and add in the Tbag lol

5 RepliesEdited by szeygvuijo: 5/22/2016 7:30:34 PMThe title says JMP and hush are less reliable then fruit and bless, but then all you talk about is click bait titles and praise fruit and bless for being educational? I don't understand.

1 ReplyI read the word butthurt. Hello

8 RepliesTrue Vanguard. Now that's a channel.

7 RepliesIs this seriously a thing? Who cares, they're just average streamers... zzirGrizz is gone, he cannot be replaced.

I really can't believe this is a forum post

2 RepliesI'm subscribed to all 4 guys and enjoy watching all of them. I think that they are different. JMP/Hush show gameplay of them succeeding with a new gun. Both of them are the best in the game, and like you said, they do the best with anything regardless. And while stuff like the Paleocontact and Eyasluna are not "OP," they post their videos based upon first impressions where the weapon feels new and "all powerful." I'm sure we have all felt this with a new gun, where the first time you use it you do incredible and the gun feels OP. I don't watch them for information about a gun, I watch them for some absolute kick ass gameplay. Mr. Fruit and Blessious are comedy gaming. Why do you think they crack puns and jokes at every opportunity? They review guns to be funny. Again, they don't give any facts about the gun. They "drop into rumble" and proceed to receive an ass kicking. It's hilarious nonetheless. You are comparing YouTubers that are completely opposite to each other. JMP/Hush provide serious PvP gameplay with a gun, demonstrating extreme skill and showing highlights. Fruit/Blessious provide comical and non-serious gameplay in hopes of making their viewers laugh. If someone really wanted an In depth look at a gun, they can go watch KackisHD or another Youtuber.
