Both Datto and tripleWRECK say sunbreakers is OP
When will the people relaying on it in PvP admit that it's broken.
I saw a video today of a sunbreakers that fired 14 hammers in one super without a sunspot.
They are also tankyer then radiant skin sunsingers
Just face it its op. The faster you understand its a crutch the faster you a learn to play without it after it gets nerfed

4 RepliesAnyone who says they are now OP can't see the forest through the trees. Their SUPER is OP now. Their grenades are meh, their jumps get you killed, they are still fairly slow. All aspects considered they are about right with maybe a slight lean to Karma for a year of getting blink shotgunned. BTW... Does a great job at cutting back blink dependence.

The only issue I have with the super is the damage resistance. It takes a headshot and a body shot to kill a Sunbreaker mid super. Other than that, I think the Hammer should have a slightly smaller blast radius, since it seems to be about the same as a rocket like Gjallarhorn, with a bit less damage. The Super is incredibly powerful right now, and while I think that it should remain powerful, let's be honest; it needs a few nerfs.

And we're supposed to care what they say? They are just two people that play the same game as the rest of us. There opinions hold no higher value than any other guardian. Sunsingers can throw a shit ton of grenades. But, I dont remember an outcry about it like this. If the bitch is about the tankiness of a tank class that finally found its armor.... It's about time. Just dodge the hammers. Easier to do than dodging other supers.

Hes also nice and helps people, datto doesnt seem to be. Ive seen his 'fit' videos he throws around when a person gives him negative feedback

Ward of dawn was pretty much useless in my opinion, seeing how everything could kill it. (Nova bomb, gunslinger, blade danger could go into it or do that things where they shoot arc damage forward trough the shield.) then if we used FoH we got hate for our "panic supers." When we used it to take out gunslingers or blade dancers. Now we get the super that actually makes us a tank, and is actually good and everyone wants it nerfed. TTK hasn't been out long and since nubs can't figure out how to counter or everyone yells "NERF!" I mean seriously hunters were given a super that can disable supers... Which they can also have 3 shots for. But if they really thought about it..." Hey... Uhh I have a super thingy that can stop other super thingys! Maybe I can shoot my pointy thing at the Titan on fire and then kill him!" And before anyone is like. "Nah I don't want to save my super just for that, I'll get one kill with my bow or maybe get lucky and tether a few people anyway. " I always saved my foh for when I saw a hunter on a super or a bubble. If hunters actually tried and got good, sun breakers wouldn't be a problem.[/quote]

I'm starting to hate this gaming experience. I mean there is always something wrong with this game before they release it. Then you get comfy with what you have, then they drastically change it. Make me endure a learning curve all over. I never seen or paid attention to anything like this. And I miss the days of complete full games man. . I'm not even done with the story and here all these changes about to come. Shit is exhausting. I get off work at six. I don't want to go back to work when i pick up my ps4 joystick.. But my Destiny time has greatly decreased toward the latter days of year one.... So. Maybe they will get this right from jump street next dlc, if not, I give up.

Also most of the complaining is coming from hunters, warlocks seem indifferent atm, so why not undo the nerf to the classes? Most of them were done pre-sunbreaker, and may be set up for pre-ttk classes to effectively shut it down.

14 hammers? That means the guy used the exploit. Report the guy for cheating instead of crying for a blanket nerf for a subclass. I play as a striker in crucible. I have no problem with shutting down sunbreakers. You flank them same as blade dancers and golden gunners. Direct confrontation is suicide to anyone who has activated there super. So instead of crying on the forums about how you got killed actually strategize and come up with a tactic to deal with certain things. This game is fairly balance for the first time since launch. Every weapon and wepon class is usable in the crucible, we actually have variation in builds now for the first time since December of last year. Every class has fun and new competitive abilities and instead of you coming up with a strategy to deal with it because you were killed by it you get on the forums and cry and whine and nerf-herd until you get your way. You are pathedic.

Technically, Sunbreaker itself isn't OP. Hammer of Sol is. Well actually, not the entire super. Just its damage resistance. ONLY. I think it's kinda bull how a HoS has the damage resistance of FoH with unstoppable, over a much longer period of time.
