Are there any day 1 destiny players like me not continuing into year 2 or destiny. The game has just become to repetitive for me. Not to mention the fact that every dlc relegates any grinding you have done previously. Also I don't understand why the weapon patch is coming out with ttk since patch notes were released months ago and this problem had been around since start of game.
Comment your thoughts below. And goodbye destiny.

Nope, just take breaks in the last month or two of the dlc. Will be very active as soon as ttk drops.

1 ReplyYou are not a "vet" with that Grimoire or medal score.

1 ReplyBeen on a while ago in crucible... Something is different... Just see alot of new players and no 3000+ grimoire players.. Even the style of play is different. Old players dropping off?

3 RepliesBurned out? Yes Quitting? No. TTK and 2.0 patch will refresh Destiny en masse. Just waiting for them to hit.
-
Not quite yet. I will play TTK for a couple weeks to clear all the content, but it's really just filer until other big titles start dropping. Looking forward to about 15 games over the next 8 months. Destiny is just getting too repetitive for me. I know every games does, but TTK content (which is definitely a step forward for the games story and such) still looks like it's a pretty repetitive grind. It will be grinding the 6 (5 on xbox) strikes for another full year for nightfalls and such, count me out.

2 RepliesI'm staying no better game out there

I thought about it but my friends convinced me

Good bye. I quit for several months and then came back. Have not regretted it, but to each his own.

I'll be playing bo3. ill be back in year 3 how ever
-
Stopped Destiny Aug 31. after 1800 + hours I could not take the grind anymore. I might try destiny year 3.

Never been more hyped than now Played since first seconds of alpha

I was hardcore up until the Christmas lizard shit squad stuff. Played here and there since then, and I really want to play this TTK. But I don't see it being worth my time, I stop in here a few times a week to see what's new and I'm not impressed with how things are going. They are making great cosmetic changes, but content wise I'm just not feeling it. I got the money on my PSN account to buy it, but I haven't preordered it.

I'll be there. In spirit.
-
Day 1 player and I've barely played the last month. I'll be returning for TTK, but won't be acting like Destiny is my job. Lol!

3 Replies"Are there any day 1 hardcore destiny players like me" hardcore wait a min. moments of triumph not completed. and Grimoire of 3185 and u calling ur self hardcore.
-
Day 1 player and I cannot wait for the ttk and the 'hard reset' as much as I love the current crop of weapons, and I do, I can't wait to start using something new and more powerful.

3 RepliesThought I was once. Came back. Willing to give Y2 a chance. 72 friends and nobody ever seems to be on when I am and just don't have the time to sit and try to find a team to run Lvl32+ POE. The lack of matchmaking for me has been the plateau. Y2 is supposed to give "everyone"--not just kids with scads of time on their hands--the chance to level all the way up and that's welcome, but it looks like it's a huge time suck. And I get that...it's their ultimate goal right. Just not sure it's how I want to spend the next year of my life.

I took a 4 month break once TDB came out. Wasn't impressed at all by the content. Started up just over a month ago and like what they did with HoW. So, no I will not be quitting. I'm enjoying the game more than ever and am really excited to play ttk.

2 RepliesI've been playing since day 1 and i only have like 3200 grimoire. I play the game daily. I just don't care for grimoire lol

Edited by Jaymz: 9/2/2015 2:30:12 PMWhat game isn't repetitive? Most the games I've played are. Even the ones that aren't online, take a look at Super Mario Brothers or every Call of Duty every made. What MMO game don't you have to grind for? In ever MMO I've played I always grind then there would be a patch with new things and I would grind some more, it's fun especially since you do it with other people. So sir what game will you play now?
