Because that would make it a 10 round sniper with shoot to loot, as opposed to the Ice breaker, which is neither of those things. I mean, sure, design a new gun like that and see if people use it, but totally changing the IB would be silly. Did you keep shoot to loot on any of your sniper rifles?

Only sniper rifle I do use, is the ice breaker. Only because of oracles and the bridge cheese, or random times. I prefer the invective. Wish they'd do something about fusions. I'd use my final rest.

Have you got shoot to loot on any of your guns? And IB has many more uses than cheese. It is currently one of the most versatile weapons in game. Taking away the regen and making it shoot to loot would break it horribly.

Versitile? No, something you take with your tent to camp, yes. People turn to it just for the fact they don't have to go grab ammo. It's a great sniper yes, it just encourages people to find ways to find places to be far away and sit.

Nope, it's super versatile. You yourself said it's the only sniper rifle you use. That in itself suggests a degree of versatility. Is there only one shotgun you use? Only one handcannon? Etc. And you still haven't said if you kept any guns with shoot to loot. I mean, with the tiny mag and loss of field scout, I went with shoot to loot on my first couple of HoW SRs, but it's so pointless it's not work keeping. Like, just run there and pick up the ammo. You would replace an excellent perk with a perk that is rubbish. And just because you camp/cheese, doesn't mean everyone does. You want to stop that, change the despawning mechanic, stop people going out of play areas, etc. not the gun.

Also, for how one sided certain weapons are, yes, there is only 1 or 2 of each type I'd use. Simply because the others aren't good enough. That fact hurts a game like this. Look at the thorn and gally. They're so effective, majority of players use them for most hard situations. Thorn in IB and Trials, and gally on bosses. Everyone running around with the same things kills diversity and if you don't have it, there's the chance you'll lose or not get picked. I was almost forced to get good with the relic and sword because at first, no one wanted someone that didn't have gally or ice breaker. Took me a long time to get ice and I still don't have gally. I'm over 1,200 hours in.

It's the only sniper I use, because it's the best for cheeses and almost no one wants to run things legit. There are always exceptions so nothing applies to all. Yes, I would trade mullegen (sp) for shoot to loot and lose regen, if the ammo went back to the mag. I would rather use fusion rifles if they were even a little better.

Do you use any guns with shoot to loot? Not sure how I can ask this any more directly. Mulligan sucks, so you are comparing like for like. (bad for bad). Would you replace firefly with shoot to loot? Would you remove ammo regen on invective and add vacuum? And if you don't want to cheese it, then don't. Play the game with different people who also don't like to cheese. And even if you do end up in a cheese group, what are you going to do if IB sucks all of a sudden what with it being your self confessed preferred cheese weapon? Throw the gun at them when it runs out of ammo and there's nothing else in sight?

Yes I do and I would trade vacuum for regeneration because at least you can pick up green for the invective. I would love to play everything with no cheese but be realistic, you're not always on when the normal people you play with are in, and everyone in the forums want to cheese unless they lost saying they won't, it's just fact. I do have the broken truth I'd like to use but I use invective as my exotic for pve. I use red death and felwinters for pvp because I would like to win a few matches haha I would use my BT more, but the scale is so tip towards specific weapons. I even kept my old and have the knew unwilling soul autos. It'd be nice if everyone could look at all their gear and think "what do I want to use for this", not "what will get me my win"
