This emblem has every high level PVE completion:
- Atheon
- Crota
- Skolas
But not the highest PVP completion??
Little disappointed that it is belittling the PVP accomplishment. Skolas is a pretty hard battle for players who play the game mostly for PVP. Lots of players still haven't killed Skolas or even raided for that matter.
Not trying to start an argument here, but doesn't the Lighthouse seem logical on a completionist checklist?
What are your thoughts on this?
Edit: Or at least completing a trials card with 9 wins
Edit: Apparently, in the words of people who haven't been to the lighthouse, everyone who has been to the lighthouse and plays Trials every week is a lagswitcher and a cheater. It has nothing to do with their skill. It is actually an elaborate scheme by Edward Snowden to keep them out of the Lighthouse.
Edit: Surprisingly unlike most forum posts this has been mostly a good community discussion. I'm changing my opinion based on reasonable people here that the requirement should be 7-9 Trials wins and rank 5 in Iron Banner.

3 RepliesIt's suppose to be pve game pvp is a bonus. Trials is just for the moaners that liked there pvp but personally I think they should go back to Cod.

To all these people saying flawless raider is the hardest/most comparable achievement in PvE I highly disagree. I could totally understand if you haven't done Skolas but you've gotten flawless raider. I got flawless raider in one try, back when 32 was the max, with me and one other friend, on Crota. Flawless raider was difficult when vault of glass was the only way to get it but at this point I could probably solo flawless raider Crota. I have also beaten Skolas a few times and it was considerably harder. And if you're good at PvP and have good friends, it takes even less time to get a flawless in trials than it does to complete Skolas. I'm not saying I completely agree with OP, I'd say maybe at least get 8 wins on a ticket. The only reason I don't agree though, is because of all the butt hurt people would have.
-
5 RepliesNo. You guys already get you exotic pvp emblem. Let us get a legendary pve emblem for completing all the pve things.
-
4 RepliesDude you have and emblem for pvp that is literally in obtainable by someone that does Aton of pvp. The "YEAR ONE" emblem is for the masses that played year one ( a predominantly pve game). It's not even for day one players. They have one as well. The triumphs are fine. I don't think bungie wanted them to be for the elite. Hard atheon and crota are way to easy at 34. Skolas isn't even worth doing, but is easy ( albeit a drawn out encounter) with team work and careful judgment.
-
Triumphs crucible wins is glitched. My friend played a game of control and lost. He got 5 crucible wins for that match.
-
Yup. Put it in. You have not accomplished everything year one if you haven't gone flawless at least once
-
1 ReplyEdited by Jump Into Hell: 7/10/2015 11:54:27 AMHighest PVP accomplishment is Flawless Trials. Highest PVE is Flawless Raider. You really need to have both in. It would be cool if Bungie did this, then I would be able to find people to do Flawless Raider Edit: DONT TALK SHIT ABOUT EDWARD SNOWDEN OR ILL THORN U
-
I play every week and have come across 2 teams cheating, 2. Don't use that as an excuse, weapon balancing issues? Use thorn, use final round, use whatever is at you disposal to give you any sort of advantage, like we said in the army, you win by any means necessary. I'm not that great at pvp, but I practice and adapt my play style, keep at it and good luck!!
-
You look beautiful today
-
Lol Edward snowden. I happen to agree man, I have never encountered a cheating team in trials, some of these people make it sound like there's cheaters around every corner when in reality it's probably like 1-2% of players and if you happen to be unlucky and play one of them at least you can afford one loss in trials and still go flawless.
-
Look at it this way; the PvE content is the same for everybody, every time. Same amount of enemies of the same difficulty level at the same expected time. In PvP though, I've been to the light house. And I've traded in cards that only the one free win on it. Every player, and thus every opponent is different. There is no standard to be applied. There are people who once they achieve the lighthouse, they go back in and continue crush people's dreams. There are people who once they achieve the light house, they go back in and throw matches to strangers to boost them. There is no "fair" way to proclaim everyone had the exact same shot. This is why the lighthouse should not be included on the triumph checklist.
-
In that same vein why not add Flawless raider, achieving a seventh column medal, and some kind of speed run? Just spit balling harder accomplishments. I believe Bungie's intent was to have realistically obtainable goals for the average player in order to have goals that a majority of the people could work for, thus keeping a larger player base active until TK launches.

PvE gets old after a certain amount of time. Crucible provides a variety of challenges, i have more fun in crucible. Hence thorn and the hand cannob BS.
-
2 RepliesWhy? When trials is the most broken content in the game? Cheaters and hackers everywhere, why reward people for that?
-
Would make you feel more special if it did As it is not too many players have completed 2 hard raids and skolas
-
3 RepliesEdited by britishninja99: 7/10/2015 11:28:16 AMNo it shouldn't be. Lighthouse already has its own exclusive emblem that there is no other way to earn. There is no reason why the Lighthouse should have influence on whether or not you can get two emblems. The Eye of Osiris and the loot you get from the chest are more than enough reward. Edit: There's also the fact that The Lighthouse hasn't been around for most of Year one. By the time TTK comes out it will have been in game for a whole 4 months.
-
Lighthouse seems like a stretch but 9 wins sounds good
-
I don't know but flawless raider trophy should only count if you got it pre HoW when you weren't way above crota in level like we are now
-
Help me with trials? I need 5 wins
-
1 ReplyYup, and Unbroken and flawless raider and under 4 minute mile, minimum pole vault height of 15 feet, yearly income over $100k, at least 3 kids, minimum of 30,000 miles in the past 12 months on you frequent flyer account, visited a minimum of 4 different countries in the past 6 months and you have to be able to down a 12 pack in less than an hour. Or, GTFO.
-
13 RepliesIt's bad enough that the best rewards are hidden behind the sweaty nerd wall of flawless this expansion, it would be unfair to have it as a requirement for the emblem and bungie realised that.
-
I have gone flawless a few times but this really needs skill based matchmaking. Going against players that are a lot better than you is not fun over and over.
-
Lighthouse should definitely be on their. Anyone knows your first flawless is a huge deal and triumph for you in the game so it should be on the emblem.
-
Fundamentally disagree with having flawless as a moment! It's too hard for the average player to achieve!
-
Im not
