Has your "Main" changed?
Here is my story.
In beta, I started a Titan and liked him. Game came out, day one I started a Titan. For a long time I ran the titan and in the beginning of the game, there were not too many titans out there. It was nice, because you were always wanted for nightfalls and strikes. As a huge PvP player I then decided to make a Hunter. I played the hunter SO much when I made him. He was my main for months. Then I made a Warlock and man....and so on.
I started with the Titan and to put him into perspective, His most deadly weapon in the crucible is Auto Rifles.... That is how much I get on the titan. I still use him for PvE a lot.
Crucible:
Titan= 9,950 kills 1.55 KD
Hunter= 33,852 kills 1.9 KD
Warlock= 13,075 kills 2.02 KD
Also, I have better learned the game over the time. The KDs of the characters go Up as to when I made them.
I would still say my main is the Hunter. So lethal... but the warlock is making a strong argument. To me, the warlock has the best exotic armor. Ram, voidfangs, claws, heart of Praxic, obisidan mind etc. I do not really get on the titan anymore... He is kind of like that weird uncle that is awkward. We just don't let him go out in public anymore.

I did the beta as a Hunter and went Hunter on full release. Tried out Warlock and loved it and the hunter was used less often. Over time I kept getting Titan gear in drops and decided to take the plunge and make a Titan. Now I must admit, I really enjoy the Titan the most, they just look so bad ass. Launching a striker/defender super is so satisfying in its results. This does not mean I will be discarding my other characters. The longer I play, the more I find each characters' attributes suited to different situations/circumstances, but I do enjoy my Titan ahead of my other characters.

On release, I went to hunter and when I finally got to utilize arc blade I truly fell in love with the game. I then picked up my other two characters just as fill ins for getting content. When The Dark Below came out, I started using my titan more but not enough to be considered my main. Now with House of Wolves, I have in a sense rediscovered the true god power of the warlock. I find myself wanting to wreck anyone and everything with both nova bomb and the "surprise mother--blam!-er" sunsinger. I use both my warlock and hunter equally as my main. I do feel I may use my titan more once I get the hammer of sol. This is where I would insert an mc hammer joke but you deserve better than that...

Nope. My main in the beta was a Warlock and I miss my Warlock if I play as my Hunter too long.

My main is still my warlock. Titan I use often, but warlock is always. My hunter...well...that belongs to my girlfriend...but I do go on it sometimes, it will never be my main. Hunters aren't, in my opinion, 'up to par' with my other classes.

1 ReplyStarted as a Titan in the beta. Didn't try anything else. Started again with a Titan on first day. Played just one character forever. Didn't create another character until TDB dropped. I got tired of waiting for weekly rests to try and get enough shards from CE with just my one Titan, so I created another Titan... lol Well, I finally hit the level 32 cap on my main and kinda got bored with the game. That is when I finally decided to make another type of character. Started a Hunter. Got to level 31 quickly. Then I decided to round it out and make a Warlock. Deleted my second Titan and made a Warlock. I spent a lot of time working on those two characters that I didn't use my Titan much. I used the Hunter in PvP and the Warlock in PvE. I like the Hunter a lot, but I'm not a fan of the Warlock. I have gotten really good with both. However... when I bring my Titan out, it feels like home. If someone were to tell me to bring my best character to do something difficult in the game, I would hands down bring my Titan. So yeah, he is still my main.

Nope Still a Warlock from beta to now, when I played Titan it was alright... UNTIL I UNLOCKED WARD OF DAWN! then Shit got real, I hate being a hunter you have to play aggressively to get the most out of it and I prefer to play defence. But Warlock all the way, sticky grenades... they stick :D

Then made 2 more Hunters because RNG was famous for sticking it's you know what up your butt with VoG armor drops. Then some time before TDB dropped I decided to make a Warlock. After maxing both subclasses for it, I fell in love with the Sunsinger for PvP and PvE, so I deleted my other Hunter and made another Warlock. I considered my main to be Warlock until about 3 days ago. Maxed my Titan yesterday with the help of friends. Leveling with the new meta was quite difficult in PvP because everyone seemed to be running Thorn or TLW. (No complaints) It sure was one hell of an experience though. Also ran ToO as a level 32, it was actually fun because everyone that I went up against was 34 and every kill I had was satisfying, I was super squishy though.

2 RepliesI was Hunter for months. Got my Warlock up to 34 with some raid and POE gear. But this Titan... I'm not even fully unlocked with the second subclass and I'm already having a ton of fun with it. I think it's safe to say Titan will push Hunter for most favorite class. But I really should withhold judgment until the 3rd subclasses come around and I get the [i]whole[/i] picture.

Started with a hunter in the beta, when the game came out I made him into a knife addict. Lots of fun against hive. I used him for a while, then started thinking about making a new character. I didn't want a warlock because I wanted by class to demand skill. ...no offense, warlocks ... Anyways moving on. I decided to make a striker, and thought out the best possible build for him. to level him up I deleted legendary gauntlets, boots, and chest and symbiote. ... And I even bought stuff from the crucible armory just to delete it for my titan. ... So then my Hunter was level 24. Anyways the striker build was [spoiler]Arma/ flashbangs/ discipline maxed/ 80% int/ 0 str/ flashbangs/ overload/ armor and agility/ transfusion/ Shoulder charge/ red death.[/spoiler] There you go. You're welcome. It essentially maxed discipline, and with the right perks you'll get your super in no time. Strength is unnecessary due to charge and overload, and flashbangs let you go in with the charge to regen health. So you're getting health regen on almost every kill die to also having red death. So recovery is totally unnecessary. So have agility to close distance faster for the charge. Anyways... I started realizing that fist of havoc just wasn't enough. And storm fist was terrible. So I after a very long time swapped back to Hunter. Very recently. He's had a skill tree change though and is now very deadly.

Beta player, started with Titan and still love my Titan. Although in crucible, I am doing better with my warlock recently. Only character to go 9-0 in trials.

beta/day 1 always think of my hunter as "main" just because he was first Really enjoy all 3 but most comfortable as hunter moving around/agility, he gets all the upgrades, best toys, etc... first Gimpy (warlock) is great but has to take the stairs a lot I like playing pve with titan - defender support can save a wipe in so many places

Titan convert here...started off with a Warlock and abandoned for a Hunter...made a Titan just before HoW and never looked back...one of my clanmates that hasn't played in a while got back on and was like "Dude! You're maining a Titan now? You suck man, lol" - we had a Hunter brotherhood going lol

I love my Titan. I will always say I main a Titan, but I love my Hunter. I despise my warlock now though
