Bungie basically said they weren't ever going to add capture the flag because players that aren't good at the game will never do well.
They claim that one good player could run the flag back and forth with ease and it will ruin the fun for the less skilled players.
Which doesn't really make sense to me. I would consider myself only an average player at best when it comes to playing Halo PvP online, but I always do well and have fun playing capture the flag.
I think CTF would be a great addition to Destiny's crucible.
Some king of the hill and a few other unique game modes would add alot as well.

Some one at bungie probably had a bad experiance with the game type Lmao

Wouldn't surprise me after watching them play Prison of Elders for the demonstration before the DLC came out, lol

Edited by VentralPuma606: 5/26/2015 5:00:55 PMIndeed. The problem I find in other CTF games is that once your team has scored, no one even goes for the flag again. I always go for the flag because " it's the way it's meant to be played". Different objective game modes would bring diversity. But I digress "preaching to the choir". I'm sure you already know these things. Edit: I think they made a mistake by not including because
players that aren't good at the game will never do well
Cough* Trials *Cough. (and i didn't do very good, various reasons why)

I've seen that before. I usually go for the flag too. You never know when the other team might score. Especially if its 2 flag CTF on a small map. Lol, their original argument for not adding CTF does seem mute after they added the Trials. Hopefully if enough of us bitch about getting CTF in the game they'll add it.

I never even realized it was missing till i noticed some posted it in the main forum.
