*** I GUESSED WRONG *** Still, better safe than sorry. It turns out the glitch still works. To all the naysayers, notice that I said MIGHT. I never prefaced this as a leak, nor did I claim I was an authority. I just saw a patch and incorrectly guessed the outcome.
We don't know for sure, but the new patch coming tomorrow is most likely going to kill your ether key if you leave the area. Hopefully they will fix that the key is wiped if you die after the boss is killed. But either way farm like mad today guardians if you haven't already.
***For those who keep saying there isn't a patch tomorrow, kindly scroll up a few inches and see the service warning from Bungie at the top of the forum that clearly states a live patch is coming tomorrow.
***It appears mobile users may not be able to see the forum header. If you log on with pc or mac there is a header that confirms a live patch is coming tomorrow.
***I love that I got downvoted for trying to warn those who ahdn't got a chance to farm yet to do so because a patch that is CONFIRMED to be coming out tomorrow might fix the exploit. SMH

There is no way it would have fixed it. This is an issue that has been around from the start, if they intended to fix it they would have done so in a previous patch and even if they did suddenly decide to fix it, it would take more than a few days to patch it and get the patch through certification.

We were already given patch notes for the patch that is coming tomorrow. Unless they added the fix recently I doubt they will fix it with this patch.

Come on! If we could turn in these engrams we would be getting packages after packages instead of having to constantly delete them. They knew people were going to farm these chests and they put limitations in place.

It's too late, I'm already maxed out on engrams and have a few keys. This has been way better than the loot cave. Unless the patch is to make all of these farmed engrams useless. That would actually be pretty funny
