Hey bungie,
Please understand i am trying to say this in the least offensive manner.
Last time you guys selected this exact scenario for the nightfall, there was an outcry from the community that there was no burn.
According to the very article you guys posted last week regarding changing strikes, you said this strike is "arguably the most difficult, and longest" averaging 27 minutes.
You also commented that because it's the least completed in the strike playlist, and least completed of all NIGHTFALLS, you were adjusting the boss's health.
There is a glaring contradiction here: you spent the time and resources to research strike statistics, but now that you've uncovered your findings, you've decided to implement this strike as the nightfall anyway, and in the most difficult scenario possible-with no burn.
I'm confused by this contradiction. If you're concerned about strike completion, which you obviously are, and your research indicated this very strike is the antithesis of what you're hoping to achieve through the destiny experience, why would you 1. Make it the nightfall before the changes are made? And 2. Why would you make it with no burn, making it more difficult and therefore even less likely to be completed???
These types of contradictions don't make sense to me. When you research a problem you use your findings to promote your cause, not detract from it.
I could go on about it, but I've made my point. I guess I'm just wondering what all that talk of strike completion was about? What was it actually for? If you're going to ignore your results then why invest the time into getting said results in the first place?
For me, I don't mind the difficulty. I'll tackle this thing first thing tomorrow. But I do mind these countless contradictions between what you communicate to us via your official releases, and the actions you take in the game.
If I were the boss, I would tell you that you need to start making sense real quick.

4 RepliesStop complaining and just complete the strike, it's not impossible just because there's no burn.
