Why are all of you so mad?
First people complain about xur never selling the good stuff but as soon as he does, you get even worse. People claiming they "earned" theirs, people thinking they're entitled to it. Xur is more earning than your rng drops. So why are you so mad? Personally, I'm glad he's selling something different. It's a nice break from the icebreaker and no land beyond

2 RepliesThere's nothing wrong with having exotic weapons sold in the game. Bungie should probably up the costs a little more sort of like they did this week but a little more drastic next time. I understand Destiny is all about the grind for loot but the vendor system in this game is seriously lacking. It doesn't need a trade system per say but something like they implemented in Diablo 3 could be cool, you can trade with members of your fire team for a short period of time before gear becomes account bound.

xur is basically pay to play weapons and armor. all exotics should have bounties so ppl actually earn them and everyone gets them the same way. would put an end to all of the bashing back and forth. but hey, Bungie is not going to do anything that makes sense with this game at this point apparently.

Was in a HM Atheon raid a couple days ago. One kid got pissed bcause Atheon didn't reward him with Red Death so he started dismantling his weapons...even Gally. Next day Xur sells Red Death.

Its not everyone, in fact it's a really small minority. They are just a very vocal minority and get all of bungies attention. Typically they are the hardcore pvp players that don't want to have to face a challenge. And the hardcore pvp players are only about 15% of the population. But they are so vocal that bungie bends over backwards to cater to them. It's quite shameful on bungies behalf.

People get mad about anything. If Xur sells a bad weapon, he's useless. If Xur sells a good weapon, he's giving welfare to scrubs who didn't "earn" it.

I haven't seen a single post about someone complaining about red death. Personally I think everyone who posts about people hating when Xur sells new exotics are just annoying attention seekers because no one ever actually makes posts about it.
