Should Marijuana Replace Tobacco?
What do you think flood?
Edit: I'm thinking about making this a poll. Should I? Or just keep it a thread of strictly debate/opinions?

You could spend thousands of dollars a year in unnecessary things, ruin your lungs, have breakdowns, loss control of your body just to look "cool" or "have a hi feeling" or you could be a good person who spends money wisely and actually loves your mom. No, I am NOT for weed or any unprescribed drug I am for the people I care about, my lungs, my brain and my OWN CONTROL!!! They show us those videos in health for a reason

5 RepliesNo, vaping should replace tobacco. Weed doesn't help you get over a nicotine addiction. But with vaping, you can actually alter the amount of nicotine you are receiving, while still getting the oral fixation of smoking. Much easier to get off of a nicotine addiction that way. Weed shouldn't/won't replace anything. Even with it being illegal, the people who would be smoking if it were legal (save for the edgy teenagers) are smoking it anyways. Now they just have to hide it less. Nicotine and THC do very very different things to you, I wouldn't want my surgeon to be stoned off his ass while doing heart surgery, but if he smoked a cigarette before to relieve stress, it would hardly affect his ability as much (as compared to weed) to conduct fine motor skills, concentrate, and utilize knowledge. Being high while driving [i]does impair your driving skills,[/i] smoking a cigarette impairs it to the point that you have to drive with one hand, which is easy, and isn't actually having physiological affect on your decision making skills. To say that weed should replace tobacco is just an idea that you'd either have to be really stoned or ignorant to think as valid.

6 RepliesNo. Because not everybody likes weed to the same effect because different People can get a different high. Me for instance, I feel like I have to be doing something when I'm high And if I don't then my anxiety pumps up to a bad level. But I like dip because I get a small buzz And the taste is amazing as Well as I can just relax when I dip. Or at least used to dip.

Shouldn't replace, but should be legalized. Their is nothing I love more than smoking a well packed pipe of tobacco while washing it down with an IPA.

1 ReplyTobacco and marijuana are two very different things. Tobacco by itself isn't that bad. All the things that are added to the cigarettes that we buy make them worse. You can buy normal tobacco and role your own and its much better and cheaper. But marijuana will not replace tobacco.
