I see lots of people complaining about xur not selling icebreaker or Gjallahorn .... Well if you're smug like me , then you don't deserve it anyway cause you haven't been playing since day one lol!
Xur sold icebreaker and gjallahorn aaaaaaaages ago! Ha!
Edit: Gjallahorn was sold but hard to get by grind unless you took advantage of the strange coins xur had for sale for glimmer lol , but bungie took that down. But Ice breaker was a week three weapon by which time any player of destiny could of got together 17 strange coins,
There's was no luck involved .... Just pure dedication and awareness , my fellow traditional icebreaker purchases we are now few and far between! Diluted by all these muggles

Never had the chance to buy gjallahorn but have had 3 ice breakers drop for me in the last 2 weeks one from a legendary engram, one from a nightfall, and one from raid on normal. Waiting for that elusive gjallahorn

The only exotic weapons I don't have are the shotguns and pocket infinity, doing already two bounties for invective and pocket so the collection will be completed, already have all exotic pieces of gear for the three classes, I wouldn't label myself as a vet but I can tell you I've had a blast playing to get those items, that's what matters to me

I was one coin short that weekend. Couldn't get another coin to save my life. Bought armor instead. It still makes me sad.

This post is dump. I've played since day one and chose to pass up on both for multiple reason. Ghorn week 1 didn't have The coin and only had one character. Ice breaker - honestly did not think I would ever be a sniper guy. As I progress my strategies did too and I realized I needed both. Rng has been good to me with the raid gear but not with exotic weps. This argument is ridiculous.

4 RepliesI'm a vet and I chose not to buy the icebreaker because I didn't realize what I was missing out on. Do I regret it? Yes! Doesn't make me less of a player. Why don't you kids try to quit giving yourselves self-proclaimed titles and calling people out for being fake 30s, nonvets, etc. You bought the icebreaker from Xur or got a lucky roll somewhere. Your parents must be proud...

2 RepliesI don't have icebreaker but I don't miss or need it. I didn't buy it when xur had it cuz I thought it looked like a leafblower. Been playing since the first day though, and have found plenty of other ways to own the minions of the darkness.

2 RepliesI have a social life and really only played during the week. Didn't even know xur existed until a month and a half into the game. Don't be a douche bag. I got galla from the cryptarch like 2 weeks ago. Stop feeling special cause you bought it. Had plenty of strange when it was available just didn't care to read forums back then or sign into a website to learn the actually purpose (story) of the game. What are you like 12 singing nah nah nah boo boo. Go back to your cave troll
