I see lots of people complaining about xur not selling icebreaker or Gjallahorn .... Well if you're smug like me , then you don't deserve it anyway cause you haven't been playing since day one lol!
Xur sold icebreaker and gjallahorn aaaaaaaages ago! Ha!
Edit: Gjallahorn was sold but hard to get by grind unless you took advantage of the strange coins xur had for sale for glimmer lol , but bungie took that down. But Ice breaker was a week three weapon by which time any player of destiny could of got together 17 strange coins,
There's was no luck involved .... Just pure dedication and awareness , my fellow traditional icebreaker purchases we are now few and far between! Diluted by all these muggles

I was level 24 when he first sold icebreaker. With 15 strange coins to my name. I would consider myself a veteran, and if you don't, then go off yourself.

2 Replies-blam!- off. Just because I have kids, a job, full time student, and have a dedication to the military (reserves) doesn't mean I havent been playing since day one. To begin: It's "could have" not "could of" you smug (your description of yourself, not mine) asshole. Second: As a beta/day one player, I think I can speak for a large selection of people when I say that we all didn't have 3 players maxed out from the start with strange coins out the ass to buy everything Xur had to offer, and so some of us had to make the decision to buy exotic armor instead of a weapon. Full disclosure... I own both the ice breaker (which I bought from Xur) and two gjallahorns (back to back drops from the hard raid and then the nightfall right after, two weeks ago).

I have been playing since [i]beta[/i] day one. I have something called a job, where I get paid to sell things to people at a ridiculously high price. And I'm a student. Suffice it to say, I don't play 24/7 like you obviously do, so I don't have a warehouse full of coins to throw away.

Don't believe the hype. It's ok one shot and you're looking at grandmas house. I like to dump a clip at the same target with out readjusting my sight. Power without perception is useless!

Got this game the day it was released and I didnt have enough Strange coins for the Gjallarhorn + I was still getting the hang of it and looking around + my level was super low. I was mainly focused on exploring instead of getting a gun lol.
