Purple drops since patch
I've yet to see a purple drop since patch. Cryptarch gone up 4 levels and all packages have been 3 blue engrams. Done 30 odd strikes and have yet to get anything but blue crap.

Same here! I've played multiple strikes on level 22/24 strikes, and no purple engrams. Even patrolling used to give me purple engrams once in a while, and now I haven't seen ONE. What's going on?

1 ReplyTo be honest, since patch I've only seen two legendary engrams and one gave me blue item which is incorrect accordingly to the patch notes, and the other gave me materials which is accurate for the description of the engram of a chance for legendary or materials. Also completed the raid and no rewards. Bungie please fix those issues so people get rewarded correctly. Thank you

They even said in the patch notes that purple engrams would drop less.

I've gotten two so far, one in crucible, and the other while doing the Sepiks Prime strike (the old Russia one). Both of them turned out to be Ascendent shards. Is it just me, or is getting Legendary Armour from engrams ridiculously hard/nigh impossible? Ive only managed to get Legendaries from blues, and even then they were just weapons. My legendary chest was the Queen's Orders one for Hunter

Who gives a damn?? They don't just want to hand you a purple engram. It was made to be hard to get in the first place, then ppl starting figuring out farming caves n crap. Put your time in and get your legendary. Do some tiger strikes, farm, get faction points. It's simple

Legendary drops have certainly gone down. I did however have a Rare engram decrypt into a Legendary assult rifle over the weekend so that was a great bonus. I just wish they had a way to better find the shards, I need like 6 per level of each of my armor items to finish leveling them up. Since I get OCD about completing certain things this is driving me crazy but it keeps me playing at least casually for several more weeks even after the new Borderlands comes out.

Everytime I get one it's an ascendant shard, maybe the really want legendary to be a legendary pain in the butt to get.

Same here, 30+ hours of gameplay and still no purple engram drops post-patch ... wonder if I'll ever see one again. All in all, consistent with my raid luck, 2 runs and nothing to show for.

They aren't gonna hand out legendaries they increased the turn rate on engrams but decreased there spawn rate it would be pointless if legendaries dropped more frequently when they have a higher chance at legendary and exotic gear

I've gotten two legendary engrams post-patch and one turned out to be the Gjallarhorn so not complaining at all

I did 18 strikes, 3 characters worth of dailies for 4 days and bounties as I was working on Juju bounty. I got 4. 2 of which I gave my warlock to decode for gear which was nice. The other two were a Titan gauntlet and dead orbit lmg. I like this better. They're more rare to drop but it's actually exciting when it does cause you know your getting something.

Havent gotten a single purple engram since the patch. Before that i got like 2 a day or 1 or something like that. Always screwed me over witbh blues obviously. They -blam!-ed it up pretty bad.

No legendary drops, but I did get an exotic from a purple I received from postmaster. Was amazed... Post patch is the way it should be tho...

The one purple engram that dropped for me during a strike (not as a reward, mind you) ended up being ascendant energy. I'm fine with that, because I'm going to need it for the legendary and exotic weapons anyway. I've noticed a lot more of my rare engrams turning into motes of light or strange coins too, which is perfectly fine by me. :)

Considering before patch, iv never seen a legendary and then just today I got 2 in 2 strikes, back to back... Lol

1 Replythat's horrible since the patch i've earn only 2 legendary engrams for nothing realy interresting in fact still no exotic things in loot and lamost 1 week i waiting for some Ascension bursts it's so frustrating
