I’ve been a ride or die type of gamer with Destiny however I am very let down. I didn’t expect much but within 45 minutes having the entire Act 1 mission line done….for the price we pay seems like highway robbery.
Yes I know the dungeon is coming and the seal isn’t done yet but repurposing missions, and previous villains is beyond me on why we need to pay for this.
Seriously Bungie, I wish you tried a bit harder.

Edited by Strawberry Pop-Tart: 10/10/2024 3:49:13 AMDungeon is separate for the season, anyone who says different should ask themselves 'why then do we have to pay for both, separately?'.

3 Replieswhat a lie, is impossible to complete all field works in 45 minutes
repurposing missions, and previous villains is beyond me on why we need to pay for this.
They've been doing that since 2014. Where have you been?

How's it a letdown? Have you been impressed by seasonal content and didn't see this coming? Could you not understand that it was 90% filler(and always has been)? Open your eyes my dude.

Bungie is out of ideas. The state of the game reflects this.

Idk seems par for the course so far. I felt this way about the Pirate Season. I’m waiting for Prison Of Elders. That will make or break this Episode/Season in my mind. Folks like me have been begging for a return of activities like Archons Forge, Court Of Oyrx, Black Armory, Elders. We finally getting it. YOU FACE….SKOLAS

My issue is how NOTHING is new. Onslaught an old activity on old maps with old reskinned guns. A dungeon with 3 old weapons. 2 old bosses we’ve already fought. I was looking through the onslaught maps the other day. I say the one on tangled shore and thought “oh a new map that’s cool” I loaded in and was blown away that I’m back on that old gambit map from years ago. Smh

Nailed it!

The problem is that it’s still disposable content, time gates or not. Simple and repetitive

42 RepliesEdited by Dredgen Truth: 10/10/2024 3:53:08 AMI'm sorry, you don't want them to repurpose previous villains? That's called a recurring antagonist. It's a common thing in storytelling. They didn't even reuse his model, he has a very clearly completely new one. Using an old villain again doesn't make them lazy. Not necessarily, at least. There are exceptions (cough cough palpatine), but so long as it makes sense to bring back an antagonist to add to or otherwise finish their story, that has no bearing on the level of effort they are putting in.

23 RepliesWait….didnt like the majority of people want there to be zero busy work and have the story not be time gated? Here you go. Literally what people asked for and even that’s an issue now. People will never be happy. Repurposed villains? Have you read the lore about atraks, Nezarec etc? Not repurposed.

Last Season was bad. But with the drama between Saint and Osiris it felt like SOMETHING was happening in Act 1. This Season? It felt like nothing happened in Act 1 at all.

5 RepliesTonics is such filler a** content.
