Players need to know their limit on GM Nightfall.
I spend several time LFG so we can make Nightfall, I’m 1825 so I prefer do just Master.
Surprise surprise, 95% of the squads want to do GM, and that’s fine, but you need to know your limits on the game man.
Typicals that just want a carry, I mean, what’s a 1805 trying to do in GM???? Man, you’re just not there yet.
Play some hero, then legend, THEN MASTER AND THEN GM.
Don’t be the guy that joins, die 3 times in a row and then leave, just so the other 2 throw away 20 minutes of our time.
Am I ready to master Crota? No, so I play the regular one.
Yes, we can always try a challenging activity, but if it’s too hard, maybe that’s a hint so we take a chance on lower level.

Master is more annoying modifiers than gm to be frank. It usually has dumb modifiers like attrition, famine, togetherness etc. Gm is just 5 power over master so I much prefer that.

All anyone needs is Wishender for most GMs. Maybe a stun weapon. obviously the right combo of classes too.

Meanwhile I find out I can launch in, when they lose and return to orbit I Join. We end up clearing it and I had the least deaths. That’s my last season gm story My best story is probably the time I had a dude use every life but two on the fake omnigal strike. Mans popped a bubble on her then ran away and died

4 RepliesI have a clanmate who ALWAYS wedges himself into the most difficult content when it's simply above his skill level. Love the guy, but failing Day 1 raids because the same dude keeps doing the same stupid crap really does test my patience...

3 RepliesSo I’m like 1815 light have my artifacts unlocked why do i need to be higher for a Gm when I enjoy doing them. Is there a big difference between master and Gm imo nope so why not just do the Gm?

I've seen opinions are kinda 70/30 on what I said. But, yesterday I tried GM 3 times (Yeah, I prefer just Master but there's no people) and we complete it. One of the guys literally said "Thanks, I've tried 50 times, no touching this GM again" lol, so I think this one it's tricky. Thanks to the players, let's try always play calm and have fun!

Anyone thats lower than recommended LL and/or have funky loadouts (i like original loadouts but i mean FUNKIEST OF THE FUNKY Loadouts) then I'll just kick them. Dont think I've ever been in an LFG with Mic, i always create No Mic LFGs for Dungeons (Master and Normal) as well as GM's... The content is hard but if you get capable players and check their loadouts before setting off - you'll succeed majority of the time.

This absolute mind -blam!- nonsense is what basically forces people to play GMs. How does this make any -blam!- sense is beyond me...

Everyone is capped 25 below in GM, so provided they have the right gear (maybe they haven't played in a while) and know how to do that GM, they should be fine. Only group I've done for this GM struggled, but we did it. I was a Berserker with Quicksilver and Loaded Question, both of them used Wish Ender and idk their unstoppable weapon. Only thing I can think of that would've helped by any significant amount would be if the hunter was a Nightstalker for the arc charges. I still remember in D1 that I could hold my own just fine in hard VOG despite being 3-4 levels lower, and snipers could OHK me then. I'd die the least, and I'd lead the charge during the final 2 encounters. I found a way, they should be able to as well.

Shoutout to all the completely worthless Hunters that are running Arcstrider+Assassin’s Cowl this week (on Void/Strand surge), and contributed absolutely nothing to the team. Shoutout to all the Dawnblades I met this week running Wishender AND a auto rifle. Because apparently auto rifles work on Unstoppables too, am I right? Shoutout to all the players that don’t do anything but continue shooting a million ads by themselves instead of reviving their teammate. You guys must live a incredibly fruitful life, because the amount of time you waste on both ends is astounding. It truly baffles me how many incompetent people there is in this game.

People only do GM because the drop rate for standard NF weapons is a -blam!- joke. Why waste hours farming anything else when you can run a single GM and get a guaranteed drop.

Integrated LFG in-Game & while one player with a higher light level can boost any member in your party/squad who’s not up to scale. My issue are with ppl with no mic…you drop $500 on a PC or console but you still ain’t got no mic (not to offend anyone but no one really* gonna read full Text on a Raid). Ps. Shoutout to guys the help me on the GM 8hrs ago.
