Please reduce flawless from 7 wins to 5 wins for the following reasons since 7 wins flawless even with 2 forgives are impossible and you get really lucky, 5 wins is possible but still extremely difficult.
-People pay to get carries which makes it unfair.
-People hack like been 2 shotted with a Randies throwing knife which should be impossible and take little damage when you shoot them with a much more powerful impact and range gun and frame
- People leave the game after 2 round losses ensuring you use your forgiven chance when you shouldn't loose this if you loose a member of the team.
- Matchmaking does not match you against people of similar skill level and gradually matching you against more difficult opponents because it is not going of their kill death and flawless ratio..
- Matchmaking tends to put you with teams who aren't skilled and don't know what they are doing after your second win, sometimes even after your first win and you end up losing all your mercies at such an early point in the game.
- When in a 2 stack or 3 stack you get matched against players that are way beyond your skill level and weapons straight from the beginning or early on because it doesn't take skill level and kill death flawless ratio of opposing players into consideration.
I know these are facts and i know this is a factual problem in trials because I do have good pvp weapons and i know I am a descent pvp player and I never have problems in competitive getting 3 straight wins with randoms using my weapons and my skill.
Please reduce the amount of wins for flawless because with the state of trials and the ridiculous difficulty it climbs early in the game when you are with 2 or 3 friends who are descent pvp players, it makes it impossible and only with extreme luck not skill or weapons that you can get flawless and this is a fact because the mercy was increased to 2 because so little people are getting flawless. Even people who carried me through flawless 3 times in the early days which was still tough and very skilled pvp players find it impossible to do that these days in trials.
I understand trials is meant to be hard but this is beyond hard, its just ridiculous, especially when I cant focus adept weapons I already got because a extra perk had been added and I have to go through that grinding hell and frustration and rapid heart beating out of my chest trying to get flawless again.

1 ReplyEdited by BraddyBo: 8/17/2023 7:37:54 AM~0.95 is the average kda, you are well below average and sadly you are part of the small portion of players destined to forever get stomped in trials and never go flawless (outside of being hard carried). Adding a way for 1 weekly adept weapon to drop outside the lighthouse is a good idea. Going flawless is already easier that it’s ever been, making further changes so even the worst players can go flawless is ridiculous and screams entitlement (or maybe sbmm in control is casting an illusion).

1 ReplySomebody didn't play D1 where it was 9 wins. Anymore handouts you need?
-
1 ReplyNever been to the light house and probably never will. But changing it to 5 is not the answer. The answer lies in some kind of solution involving fairly balanced teams, fairly balanced skill between those teams, and skill brackets. Add in some real anti-cheat and somehow end paid carries. Until then it’s just the rich getting richer by people allowing themselves to be used as cannon fodder to feed others egos.

I’d support a vendor reset = 1 adept engram drop no multi perks. Means players have to play a lot of matches to get there. You cannot purchase new roles with a 7w card

5 RepliesCarnt see the harm would reduce need of carries ,only lowlife no lifers would downvote this suggestion

16 RepliesSo you begin your list off by stating that it’s unfair that people can pay to be carried flawless but by the end of it you also complain that the people who have carried you flawless are no longer able to do so because it’s too hard for them now. You very openly admit that the only reason you’ve ever been flawless is because you were carried and yet you claim other people being carried is unfair. Regardless of whether or not someone pays to be carried is irrelevant, a carry is a carry and the end result is the same, people who didn’t actually earn their trip to the Lighthouse. You being carried versus another person who pays to be carried are the exact same thing. The only real difference in that equation is that there are people who are actually dumb enough to pay for it. One of the other points that you try to make is about the teammates that you get matchmade with not being “skilled” and “not knowing what they’re doing”. My guy, you’re a .2 in Trials and a .3 in Crucible, you are quite literally that teammate. It’s like players of your caliber solo queue and expect to be carried by better players and when that doesn’t happen you come to the forums to whine and cry about the matchmaking. I hate to break it to you but players at your level aren’t meant to go flawless and that’s just the cold hard truth of the matter. You’re stepping into endgame PvP and if you can’t overcome what’s thrown at you then you don’t deserve that flawless and you simply need to get better. The Practice Pool was created specifically for players to either farm rep/rewards or practice. So not only should you be spending a lot of time in said pool or in places like the Comp playlist but you should also learn how to temper your expectations and set more realistic goals for yourself. Unless you end up getting carried then you aren’t going to go flawless until you actually focus and work on improving. The bar doesn’t need to keep being lowered just because bad players exist.

1 ReplyLook ima be honest, your wasting your time with trials, let the “end game pvp” run its corse and die out when bungie stops caring about it at all, since let’s admit the only areas those weapons are okay at is pvp aside a few exceptions but since match game doesn’t exist and well mods are gone, you can pretty much ignore trials as you don’t need any equipment from there Oh that glave, no that is an honest waste of time since there are others that are either on part or better then it, oh what about the shotgun, imperial decree challenges it and is actually pretty on par with it The memento, I like black and gold, gold alone looks ugly. The armour, tell me when was the last time you seen anyone run the armour that isn’t exile or meneing? And the miscellaneous stuff like ghost shells and ships and sparrow, do you actually need any of that stuff, I mean I have always on time and I just put on random stuff as well, the only time I wanted to go flawless, was when I was new to trials and thought the glow was permanent, I stopped when I realise it wasn’t and just made better looking guardians without the glow affect

3 RepliesYou do know that Trials used to be 9 wins...right?
-
4 RepliesYou should try playing at the beginning of the seasons where player pools are large. Other than that. Mercy card is the easiest it's ever been

33 RepliesEdited by HITACHI NR83A: 8/15/2023 12:53:27 AMYou’re a 0.6 kda 🤣 can’t imagine your real kd 🫵🏻😂. Kids these days want participation trophy’s.

I hate invalidating your argument, but even at 5 wins you'd never make it with your 0.60 KDA. Which means you get killed twice for every kill you get. Most who make it to the lighthouse kill 3-4 times before dying Getting to the Lighthouse is a prestigious event, not meant for most players. I'd suggest learning to peak from cover, and when crossing gaps slide out, or jump high then out

2 RepliesLH is meant to be difficult to reach pal. Its difficult but not impossible. U ask for 5 wins. When that doesn't help, you'll ask for 3 wins and so on. It's a slippery slope. I'm rubbish in ToO, I've been shat on by any number of players but not once have I ever wanted the number of wins necessary to come down. If I do, or you do, you won't feel the same pride if u finally get there with 7. When I finally got to LH, my team promoted me from 'useless' to 'unnecessary'. 😂 Just keep putting your dukes up and do your best.

4 RepliesWow looks like the poll speaks for itself🤷♂️
-
5 RepliesTbh they should add sbmm and make it 7 wins (losses not recorded) that would bring the casuals back

Edited by A_mo: 8/16/2023 1:27:27 PMTbh, reducing it to 5 might help mitigate a lot of the trickle down effects of that mode. Just if the game, for instance, is doing two mercies for people that still have a pretty good chance of going flawless, why does that need to be two? It's hard to explain but anything in that mode that makes it so the game doesn't become overly concerned with making matches for perennially flawless players would almost have to be a good thing. Wouldn't it? If it was 5 with one mercy (or really even still two) that could end up with matches that could be used for something else. And that's on top of the fact that people play to 7 wins to get flawless and a lot of those people do that many times. So more losses for others overall. Very imprecise examples but still. Part of maintaining trials as being at least somewhat hardcore is that it should probably try to avoid burning that many matches using a tiny portion of people. I'm sure the devs can probably make it so it basically winds up the same in the end in terms of outcome, but just the fact that it takes more to get the outcome is going to give more chances for not so good outcomes for lower skilled players. And that definitely also goes for people who are in the middle. Sometimes you get stuck playing quite a long string of matches against people where you don't understand why you should have to play them when you're in the middle. And after enough of it it can start to feel like you're just on garbage duty.

1 ReplyI have to say this is a strong NO. If you can’t win 7 games with 9 opportunities then that’s a you problem. Not trying to sound mean or judge you but that’s just from experience. I agree that matchmaking is beyond abysmal these days. I can’t make this up dude…. My first game last weekend I was matched with a .19 and .3 with one of them using a sunset recluse against meta Antaeus crutch titans. I didn’t even stay cause there was no way to clutch a 1v3 for five rounds. Getting a flawless has become so watered down cause Bungie is catering to casuals for the health of the game mode. Try getting better at situational awareness in rumble, countdown, or whatever the rotator playlist game mode is. It’ll help when it comes to trials cause believe it or not, most players are predictable when it comes to how they’re gonna play based on loadouts. Doesn’t work all the time but it can help
-
2 RepliesReduce it to "Press X for Flawless"
-
16 RepliesI personally feel if you can’t hold your own to 7 wins then stay out of the game mode in solos. Your literally dragging the team down. Practice and come back when your actually decent.
-
If you can't get 7 wins once you should stay away from trials until you get good lol
-
Edited by Shark: 8/16/2023 12:01:34 AMWho the hell said yes? We've got the new mercy card which is already quite forgiving.
-
Where is the option in the poll to increase the number of wins?
-
1 ReplyHonestly, you should just get a carry ... this game is almost over, they literally just said they don't care about PvP, they're not going to do anything. You can pick any of their streamers, they all do carries for "free" (wink, wink).
-
Honestly I feel at this point they need to get rid of needing flawless to go to the lighthouse. I think they should make it so you just need the 7 wins to go to the lighthouse but if you go with a flawless card instead of a single chest there will be 3 to 5.
-
9 RepliesUhhhhh no. We’ve now got two mercies we don’t need it made any easier.
-
You are a .2kd... Maybe try to get better at the game first before having an opinion on trials.
