His argument is that there is no replayability within that statement. He replayed it for 35% of his life in a month, but it has no replayability?
His argument wasn't that it's not social enough, simply that the lack of replay value was KILLING the social element. Your reading comprehension may need improvement. They have school for that.

That was last month. What about this month? The next? The one after that? His point was D1 survived as long as it did because there was something to strive for. D2 has none of that, because there were some people who didn’t want to be left behind, though they had nothing to do with D1’s longevity. Their selfishness hurts the long-term viability of D2.

Edited by munkt0r: 10/12/2017 1:03:42 PMYou're shifting here... I liked a lot of his post in general, even some of the parts that I don't fully agree with. But he goes into this bit of hyperbolic nonsense with his comments on replayability being "crippled into nothingness".

Because...that’s how he feels? You seem to forget that Destiny is still a looter shooter, and if the loot isn’t compelling enough, people won’t be willing to play. You also forget that guys like him pave the way in tackling new challenges, figuring out strategies and finding new and more effective ways and means of leveling out characters. Without something to keep players enticed into continually playing, they’ll quit. And sure as shit casuals won’t be bothered to pick up the slack, they lack the time and commitment like they always claim. That’s when you see this game die.

I don't think I forget those things you're stating. I think he again has a LOT of valid arguments, I happen to disagree with ONE of them.

Fair enough. You’re your own man, and you’re allowed that.
