Don't like Clever Dragon - play Combined Arms.

Sick to death of the same maps over and over - ok well there are only 3 maps in this playlist...but you won't see them in any other playlist!
Want to boost your K/dA? - Play Combined Arms. Because undoubtedly there will be 2+ idiots on the enemy team (and likely yours as well) who are trying to use TLW and a matador...on Skyshock...while you're on the plane wing destroying their hopes and dreams.
Did you just get that Icebreaker but can't use it on Asylum, or Anomoly (I realize you can use whatever you want...) - Whip it out on First Light and watch people explode!
Been looking at that lovely orange beast in your vault for months? - Badger CCL needs your love. Show it your love.
Want to know the best thing about Combined Arms? - [i]Never Speak of This Again[/i]...but you will.
There is no other playlist where you can sun charge a moving vehicle, melee a flying sparrow, speed around a pvp map and do tricks whilst dodging enemy fire, have happy fun time with yourself in a far corner whilst waiting for the special ammo, and more!

I will repeal all weapon bans on every weapon since vanilla. Lookin at you fatebringer and VoC. 2nd. I will build a trials of Osiris wall and make the streamers pay for it! 3rd. All raids and nightfalls will require a rigorous vetting process before applicants are allowed in the fire team. Several countries will be immediately excluded from said process. 4th. The forums are a den of lies. I will impose a gag order on all non-conformist rhetoric. Any habitual line crossers will be publicly tarnished via my twitter account. 5th. I will renegotiate our trade agreements with activision and put destiny first! I will grab it by the pussy and give Destiny back to you! All I ask in return is your unwavering obedience and complete abandonment of your moral fiber. Elect Loki as your supreme overlord and I will make Destiny great again!!

3 RepliesCombined Arms is the best thing in Destiny for me right now. It's Control, it's huge maps, it's vehicles. Brings me back to my old days with BTB on Halo 3. I desperately hope Destiny 2 has more vehicles in it. Or at least more maps for Combined Arms and CA in a permanent slot in Crucible. There's nothing like getting surrounded in an Interceptor and managing to juke all the Supers and grenades and kill most of their team. Or ganging up on a lone Interceptor with your teammates and bringing down the beast. Or roaming around in a pack on Pikes. Just so much amazing. How fun it is makes for a good argument for more large maps in the future of the franchise, too. The mix of close quarters inner areas and large swaths of open space allow you to use basically anything as long as you know what areas of the map to stick to.

1 ReplyI really enjoy Combined Arms! For me it's all about getting kills with the Interceptor though! I got my first "unbroken" medal using only an interceptor. Also I discovered that there are medals that I'd never heard of for Interceptor kills. "Chariots of Fire" for a kill streak and "Bulldozer" for running down and killing a guardian! It's a genuinely fun and non sweaty game mode that has me cracked up when I play it. Maybe a couple of new maps for Combined Arms in the near future would be a good thing!

Had another fun batch of CA last night, I think I might have seen my first real live cheater also, it was an invincible Hunter, he wasn't redbar, he wasn't teleporting, his movement was 100% normal, but 5 point blank blasts from an intercepter, and even run over twice, no damage. I guess it still could have been due to lag, but it sure looked like legit hacker crap. My message to anyone who does actually find a way to hack/cheat/manipulate the system, they will eventually catch you, and your $400 console will be turned into a door stop. But I'm a scrub, so what do I know.
