What's your darkhorse weapon?
Topics proclaiming "god roll" are all the rage on these forums. But I'm more interested in the darkhorse- your one weapon that defies expectations and proves its mettle against the best.
So let's see 'em. What's your darkhorse weapon that gets you through Destiny's challenges despite its underdog status?
Here's mine:
[spoiler]The Villainy w/Red Dot OES, Secret Round, Fitted Stock, and Feeding Frenzy. Nothing great about this pulse rifle on paper but it wins so many 1v1s that I have no business winning. More stable than its listed stat of 80 lets on, it consistently outperforms my other "god roll" pulse rifles.[/spoiler]

My Monte Carlo. It's really underrated right now yet has the capability to counter most guns.

My righteous VII. It has carried me through every single challenge since TTK dropped. Before that it was my OG silimars wrath. Untill all the trials dickweeds "discovered" doctrine (an exact copy of every fast fire rate auto in the game) and as bungie logic dictates, overused=overpowered and fuk how it limits PvE. Every time I open my vault I weep at all my gear I can't use, but I'm not deleting them this time bungie! I've learnt from my dark below mistakes. #bringbackethiriclight

Revelator with Life Support, Outlaw, and Rifled Barrel

I don't necessarily regard this weapon as an underdog but I'm surprised people aren't using fusion rifles more. My ashraven's flight is such a beast with hidden hand, braced frame, and life support. One shot ting supers, multi kills and kill streaks galore these weapons are disgusting. Ashraven's has the perfect balance of impact, charge speed and range. Good hunting gaurdians!

4 RepliesI've had a Galahad-E from way back, probably got it around level 18 during vanilla it has: Focused Fire Hand loaded Sight is red dot? (Can't recall) I still bust it out occasionally, brings back memories and is a lot of fun in my opinion. Side note: does anyone remember the blue auto that crushed in crucible during beta? I remember running devils lair so many times trying to get it and only ever walked away with Saharas.

My grim citizen with focus fire. It's an absolute beast. Dis 47 with full auto The vanity from FWC with max stability. I can 3 shot in the crucible with it and they don't all have to land on the head.
