Noob moment? I always thought when Guardians did this ■■■ they are thinking about something or a speach bubble.
Now I realized they are checking their inventory lol. When Dark below came out I never understood what exotic shards were. Lol

4 RepliesThis is a great post and reading about these moments has put a smile on my face. All I can say is my first nightfall - 2 randoms picked me up from the tower. Painful was not the word. For months I wanted to be able to play with them again and apologise! But! Then I realised where that blue smoke came from....

When I first got my spark of light, I didn't check to see what it was, and activated it. It was on my first character too. I also didn't know it was the spark of light that made me lvl 25! XD

20 RepliesVanilla destiny, patrolling cosmadrome at lvl 9. I got a g-horn from a patrol chest, couldn't equipt it. deleated it not knowing It was the most OP heavy weapons in the game. True story.

1 Reply(Not my noob moment but a friends)So my friend is just getting back into the game so he's kinda a noob again We do the new strike and when the door opend to the cursed thrall I told him"okay were timed after this lets run like hell" Door opens He runs forward Cursed thrall takes a sniper to the chest before he can react and he's sent to a Venus patrol from the blast He laughs at his own noob moment for about three minutes

I would constantly be switching my snipers/shotguns and rockets/mgs to try and fill up the ammo on all of them. After a while I realized, when I switched back, they had less ammo than before

First time I got the sparrow I learned there are no barriers to stop you from flying off a cliff. Lol second biggest was not realizing you could transfer between characters.

Seriously, was playing CoE and I'm running around like a retard on pot kneeing shit in the face with torgue telling all I need in my life is perigrine greaves because it kills shit and is a melee. And I just kept dying over and over because I get caught on terrain. It was fun and as the lowest light on the team, I feel proud to earn the most points (even though perigrine meant Idgaf about the trickle), but my KD didn't like me today XD.

I finally decide to LFG a NF team a weeks ago, and played with a team for the first time in over 6 months. I wiped the team as last guardian standing because I totally forgot about the 30 sec revive timer on NFs. I sat there wondering wtf as I tried to revive my teammate until I died. Luckily it wasn't to orbit like year 1 but I felt pretty dumb as they sent me messages on live.....

Back in the day - beginning of vanilla - I had no idea how to change the difficulty level on a strike or story mode to make it "heroic" for some of the old bounties in Y1. I posted to the forum and people told me what to do to change the difficulty. Very helpful - but I still felt like a total dummy tho * LOL

2 RepliesPeople not realizing Hard Light is exempt from damage falloff, and if they know at all, only assume it's for the bouncing shots... BTW, this makes Hard Light the best auto in PvE.
