Destiny did Die...accept it.
Destiny went down hill after The Taken King came out and made past raids and gjallarhorn irrelevant. Who else's PSN, XBOX friends list use to be full of Destiny players? Not anymore....not anymore. RIP 09/15/15

That doesn't mean a game is dead I played for a while today and there seemed to be a fair amount of people still playing. Seriously go outside and get some fresh air, must be pretty stale in your room.

In my case that's a true statement. I have about 15 friends that's are always on. Year 1 was 50+. Players complained a lot in year 1 because they were constantly nagging "this needs a nerf" the end result was that nearly everything was nerfed leading into further disappointment. I loved destiny's volatile nature... too bad the crucibabies ruined it. A lot of people take this game very seriously and forget that it's about shooting kids and having fun.

10 RepliesI will say it's not dead. It is on its way to be. To many disappointments. Love playing the game, but it just get boring after a few crucible matches and strikes. Loot is completely ass. Miss exotics dropping in the rewards after any playlist.

1 ReplyWhy are people treating this game as if it had a pulse? The game is "active" for reasons that are plain to see. If it were dead like people claim it to be then the bungie team would stop putting updates up (as crappy as they are) and the attention they put into the game would not be there. Bungie has made their money and if it were dead they wouldn't continue to invest in the game because they have a good enough reputation to leave it and start up a new project. Grow up kiddies look at it from a business point of view. X)

Yes destiny did [b]go downhill[/b] That is the correct phrase to describe the state of the game. Going around screaming "dead", is not. If the servers stop and the game is not longer playable and supported, then that would make this game a "dead" title.
